A bachelorette party bus in Barrie is a partner vehicle from a vetted operator, priced about $550–650 per hour with a four- to five-hour minimum, all-in plus HST. For up to 14 people our own Executive Sprinter is $475–550 per hour. Alcohol is not allowed on board in any vehicle, including party buses. Book direct and see the fixed fare first.
Bachelorette party bus Barrie: the straight answer on alcohol
Before anything else, here is the thing that most affects how you plan the night. BarrieLimo.net does not allow alcohol in its vehicles. There is no drinking on board, in any vehicle, including party buses, stretch limousines, weddings and proms. Many bachelor and bachelorette groups search for a "party bus" expecting a rolling bar, and we would rather you hear this from us now than discover it at the kerb. It is a firm rule, with no exceptions for a bride, a groom or a special night.
What the vehicle does give you is the part of a party night that matters most: everyone travels together, nobody drives, nobody argues about who is the designated driver, and there is a chauffeur who waits at each stop. Build the party at the venues, at the winery, the brewery, the restaurant, the spa and the resort, and use the vehicle as the safe way between them and home. Planned this way, the night tends to run more smoothly. Our post on drinking in a limo in Ontario explains more.
Alcohol is not allowed in any BarrieLimo.net vehicle, partner party buses and stretch limousines included. Plan toasts and drinks at the venues, and use the chauffeur for the ride between them.
Bachelor and bachelorette party in Barrie: choose the vehicle
Start with the number of people, then decide whether you want a party atmosphere or a comfortable, quiet ride, and whether you want our own fleet or a partner vehicle.
| Group | Vehicle | Fleet | Hourly range |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4–6 | Executive SUV | Our own | $225–265/h (3 h) |
| Up to 8 | Stretch sedan | Partner | $400–470/h (4 h) |
| Up to 14 | Executive Sprinter | Our own | $475–550/h (3 h) |
| Up to 14 | Stretch SUV | Partner | $450–525/h (4 h) |
| 14–36 | Party bus | Partner | $550–650/h (4–5 h) |
| 7 | Jet Sprinter (VIP) | Our own | $650–750/h (3 h) |
All figures are planning ranges, all-in plus HST. Party buses and multi-vehicle groups may be priced in writing by a coordinator, so ask early. For a head-to-head comparison, read stretch limousine versus party bus, and see the party bus rental and Sprinter group transportation pages.
If the group is smaller than a bus-load, the Barrie limo rental page compares the stretch limousine, the executive SUV and the Sprinter and explains the minimum hours for each.
What is a party bus, and how many people fit?
A party bus is a converted coach or large van with perimeter seating, a sound system and lighting, built for groups of fourteen to thirty-six. The party buses we arrange are partner vehicles, supplied by vetted operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and no more than four model years old. They suit big groups: a bachelorette with twenty-five friends, a bachelor party with a full crew. For eight to fourteen people, our own Executive Sprinter is usually the cleaner and cheaper option, and it is our own vehicle, not a partner's.
If you are unsure, list the guests on the booking form and dispatch will recommend the right size. A bus that is two-thirds full is not a better party; it is just more expensive.

Bachelorette party Blue Mountain: a weekend plan
Blue Mountain is the most requested bachelorette destination from Barrie: 66 km and 60–70 minutes from downtown Barrie, with the resort village, the shops and restaurants of the Blue Mountain Village, and the Scandinave Spa nearby. A quick honest note about the spa: it runs on a rule of silence with devices stored in lockers, and reservations are needed, so it is a lovely morning for a bride and her friends who want to unwind, but it is not a party. Plan the spa first and the dinner after.
| One way, Barrie to Blue Mountain Village | Planning fare, all-in + HST |
|---|---|
| Business sedan | $300–345 |
| Executive SUV | $480–550 |
| Stretch sedan (partner) | $880–1,010 |
| Stretch SUV (partner) | $1,110–1,275 |
| Sprinter | $1,190–1,370 |
| Party bus (partner) | $1,430–1,645 |
Divide the fare by your head count to compare it with two or three separate cars. For a spa day and a dinner, a booking by the hour is often easier than two one-way trips: the chauffeur waits, takes you to dinner and brings the group home. See ski resort and Blue Mountain transfers and the route page for Barrie to Blue Mountain.
A sample bachelorette day at Blue Mountain
This is how a six-to-eight-person day often looks, built around a Sprinter or stretch vehicle booked by the hour.
- 10:00 am: the chauffeur collects the group in Barrie, with bags and gift boxes loaded.
- 11:15 am: arrive at the village, with time to wander and a late brunch.
- 1:00 pm: spa session, booked ahead; the vehicle waits nearby.
- 5:30 pm: a walk and an early dinner in the village.
- 8:00 pm: the drive back to Barrie, with a quiet ride home after the day.
Move the times around your spa slot. Winter Saturdays and summer long weekends at Blue Mountain are busy, so build in extra time and see the Highway 400 winter travel guide if you are travelling between November and March.
Bachelor party Barrie: brewery tours, Casino Rama, a game or golf
Bachelor groups have their own favourites, and most of them are naturally built around an hourly chauffeur.
- A brewery or winery afternoon: Barrie Tourism lists the area's breweries and wineries, and our wine and brewery tours page explains how to plan a tasting day with a chauffeur who waits.
- A night at Casino Rama: 47 km and 35–45 minutes from downtown Barrie, with a sedan fare of $230–265 one way. The gaming floor is open to guests 19 and over with photo identification, per the resort's conditions of entry. See Casino Rama limo.
- A Colts game: a night at Sadlon Arena, with the car waiting afterwards. See Barrie Colts season and concert and game-day limo.
- A golf day: the golf outing limo guide explains how clubs and groups fit the vehicle.
Casino Rama for a bachelor or bachelorette night
A casino evening is an obvious hourly booking: you arrive, the chauffeur waits, and nobody drives home on Highway 11 late at night. One-way planning fares from downtown Barrie, all-in plus HST: business SUV $300–345, executive SUV $360–415, stretch sedan (partner) $680–780, stretch SUV (partner) $870–1,000, Sprinter $920–1,060 and party bus (partner) $1,120–1,290. Check the guests' ages before you plan, because the gaming floor is for 19 and over, and look at Casino Rama concerts if a show is the draw.
A Toronto night out
For a Toronto bachelor or bachelorette night, the planning fares one way from downtown Barrie (114 km, 75–105 minutes) to Union Station or downtown are $420–485 in a business sedan, $550–630 in a business SUV, $1,170–1,345 in a stretch sedan (partner), $1,550–1,780 in a Sprinter and $1,890–2,175 in a party bus (partner). The late drive home from the city is where an hourly booking pays for itself: the chauffeur waits, and the group goes home together. See Toronto events from Barrie.

Cottage-country and Muskoka weekends
Many bachelorette weekends happen at a cottage in Muskoka. Gravenhurst is 70 km and 45–55 minutes from downtown Barrie (business sedan $310–355 one way), and Bracebridge is 90 km and 60–70 minutes ($370–425). Cottage-country traffic on Highway 400 and Highway 11 is heaviest on Friday afternoons northbound and Sunday afternoons southbound from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, so we recommend leaving earlier or later than the rush. See cottage country car service and Muskoka.
Guests flying in from out of town
Bridal parties and stag groups often fly in. We track flights and meet you curbside at the commercial pickup area of Toronto Pearson, with 30 minutes of waiting on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals. Barrie to Pearson is about 97 km and 60–85 minutes, from $380–440 in a sedan and $1,390–1,600 in a Sprinter. See Toronto Pearson transfers.
Who is the booking captain? Organising tips
Group bookings go smoothly when one person owns the booking. Choose a captain, collect the guest list with ages and mobility needs, agree the pickup times, and give dispatch one phone number. Decide in advance who is bringing bags, a cake or decorations, and ask at booking about what is possible in the vehicle; we will confirm in writing. Pets need prior approval, and service animals are welcome and should be mentioned when you book. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available if you book in advance and tell us about the wheelchair or scooter.
Timing: summer weekends, long weekends and winter
The season is busiest from May to September, on long weekends and on ski-season weekends. Partner party buses and stretch limousines need more lead time than our own cars. In winter, lake-effect squalls can slow or close Highway 400 with little warning, so allow extra time; our vehicles run winter tires from November to April. Check Ontario 511 before you leave.
Wedding weekends and what comes next
A bachelorette party is often one part of a bigger wedding programme. If you are also arranging the wedding day, see wedding limo and the guide to how to book a wedding limo. For a related post with party ideas, see bachelor and bachelorette party bus ideas.
How to book, and what if the date moves
- Open the reservation engine, enter the date and the pickup.
- Choose the hourly option and a vehicle for your head count.
- Add notes for stops and special requests, then review the fare and confirm.
Our cancellation terms run from the scheduled pickup time: free more than 72 hours out, 10 per cent at 72 hours or less, 50 per cent at 48 hours or less, and 100 per cent at 24 hours or less or on a no-show. Because dates can move, book once the date is set and read the schedule before paying.
A night out in Barrie itself
Not every bachelor or bachelorette night leaves town. A downtown evening in Barrie, from a dinner to a few stops along Dunlop Street, works well with a vehicle booked by the hour, because the distances are short and the cost is driven by the waiting rather than the mileage. Within Barrie, a one-way sedan is $110–125 (up to 10 km, 5–20 minutes), a Sprinter local minimum is $480–550 and a party bus local minimum is $650–750, though a group moving between several venues is almost always better off with an hourly booking. See Barrie hotels if some of the party are staying overnight.
Sprinter or party bus: which suits eight to fourteen people?
This is the question that decides most group budgets. Our own Executive Sprinter seats up to fourteen at $475–550 per hour with a three-hour minimum, and it is quiet, comfortable and ideal for a spa day, a brewery afternoon or a Blue Mountain dinner. A partner party bus costs more per hour, $550–650 with a four- to five-hour minimum, and adds the party-bus layout: perimeter seating, lights and sound. If the group wants a mellow, conversation-first day, the Sprinter is the smarter choice; if the group wants the bus experience for a bigger crowd, the party bus is. In both cases there is no alcohol on board.
What to tell dispatch before a group booking
A few details turn a good booking into a smooth one: the date and pickup time, the pickup and drop-off addresses, the number of guests, the number of bags and gift items, any guests who need extra help getting in or out, the stops in order and the time you expect to leave each one, and a single phone number for the booking captain. If the group splits into two arrivals, such as one flying in and one driving, tell us so we can plan two pickups.
Tipping and the chauffeur
The fixed all-in fare includes gratuity, so you do not need to work out a tip on the night. If the group wants to thank a chauffeur who has done something exceptional, that is a personal decision, and our chauffeur tipping and etiquette guide explains what is customary in Ontario.
