BarrieLimo.net offers limo service in Newmarket and Aurora from its Barrie base. A business sedan between downtown Barrie and Newmarket is a planning range of $280–320 all-in plus HST, about 60 km and 40–55 minutes down Highway 400 and across to Yonge Street or Highway 404. Tolls and gratuity are included, you see one fixed fare before confirming, and an hourly booking keeps the car with you.
Limo service in Newmarket and Aurora: who we are and where we start
If you are searching for a Newmarket limo or an Aurora limo, book on the BarrieLimo.net reservation engine, enter your Newmarket or Aurora address and read the fixed fare before you confirm. Our dispatch desk and chauffeurs are based in Barrie, about an hour up the road, so we say plainly that this is a Barrie-based service. It is not a local cab stand, and the best bookings are the planned ones: airport runs, trips to and from Simcoe County and Muskoka, hourly days in the city and occasions.
Newmarket and Aurora sit in the middle of the corridor between Toronto and Barrie, on the old Yonge Street route, and they are natural partners for a Barrie service because the two towns make so many trips north. Residents head to cottages, ski hills and Casino Rama, and Barrie residents head south to flights and meetings. Both ends of the trip are on one account here.
Barrie to Newmarket and Aurora: fares, distance and drive time
The table shows planning ranges for a one-way transfer between downtown Barrie and Newmarket, in either direction. Aurora is a few minutes closer to Toronto, and the reservation engine prices your exact street address. All figures include the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route and gratuity, and HST is added as a separate line.
| Vehicle | Passengers / bags | Barrie ↔ Newmarket (one way) | Distance | Drive time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | 3 / 3 | $280–320 | about 60 km | 40–55 min |
| Business SUV | 5 / 5 | $365–415 | about 60 km | 40–55 min |
| Executive SUV | 6 / 6 | $450–510 | about 60 km | 40–55 min |
| First-class sedan | 3 / 3 | $730–830 | about 60 km | 40–55 min |
| Sprinter | up to 14 | $1,120–1,280 | about 60 km | 45–60 min |
These are planning figures, not a quote. The engine prices the exact address, date and vehicle and shows one number, so a snowy Friday or a 404 slowdown does not change it. For other towns on the corridor, see Bradford and Keswick and Georgina.
What the fixed fare includes
Chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route (the 407 ETR when the route calls for it), airport fees and gratuity are all inside the fare. HST is the only line shown on its own, and there is no tip prompt.
A home or office pickup includes 15 minutes of waiting, then 15-minute blocks, announced by dispatch beforehand. For arrivals at an airport, the chauffeur follows the flight; the included wait is 30 minutes on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 on other international ones, counted from landing. Pickup at the commercial curb is included, and a name board inside arrivals is an optional extra. Child seats cost from $25 each when requested.
Newmarket to Pearson airport: the run and the choices
Newmarket to Pearson is much shorter than Barrie to Pearson, and so we print no single figure for it: the reservation engine prices the trip from your exact address. As a reference, Barrie to Pearson is $380–440 for a business sedan over about 97 km and 60–85 minutes, and Newmarket sits about 60 km down that corridor, so the engine's Newmarket figure comes in below the Barrie one. What you see is the fixed number for your address, date and vehicle.
The usual building blocks are Highway 404, Highway 400, the tolled 407 ETR and Highway 427, and the chauffeur picks the mix from live conditions on the day. Pearson pickups are flight-tracked and include waiting from actual landing. The Toronto Pearson site has terminal and arrivals information, and our Barrie to Pearson route page explains the corridor.
GO train, taxi or private car? An honest comparison
Newmarket and Aurora are on GO Transit's Barrie line, which runs to Union Station, and from Union the UP Express links to Pearson. Check GO Transit and UP Express for current schedules and fares, because they change. For a solo traveller with a light bag and a daytime flight, that chain is a reasonable, inexpensive choice and we will not argue otherwise.
A private car fits when the chain does not: an early or late flight, bulky luggage, two or more travellers, children, or a connection you cannot afford to miss. It picks you up at the address, goes straight to the terminal and costs one fare per vehicle. A taxi is a good choice for a short local hop or an unplanned trip. Our GO train versus limo guide sets out the trade-offs without hype.
"Newmarket airport limo": what people actually need
When someone searches "newmarket airport limo", they usually want one of four things: a ride to Pearson, a ride to Billy Bishop, a pickup on arrival, or a ride to Lake Simcoe Regional Airport for a private flight. All four are standard bookings. Enter the airport as the destination or pickup, add a flight number for arrivals, and the engine shows the fixed fare.
For Billy Bishop, cars drop at the mainland terminal on Eireann Quay, and the final stretch to the island is a pedestrian tunnel or a short ferry; see our Billy Bishop page. For private flights from the Lake Simcoe Regional Airport near Barrie, our private aviation page covers ground arrangements.
Newmarket's neighbourhoods and landmarks
A chauffeur's route usually starts at a landmark. In Newmarket, they are Main Street's historic downtown, Upper Canada Mall at Yonge and Davis, and Southlake Health on Davis Drive, the town's largest hospital. Southlake is a very common pickup and drop-off, and an hourly booking is a practical way to attend an appointment with a chauffeur who waits.
The Town of Newmarket lists events and services. Residential pickups run from the heritage streets near Main to newer subdivisions east of Leslie Street, and a house number plus a side-door note saves minutes. We have no affiliation with any of these places; they are simply where our passengers go.
Aurora: Yonge Street, the village feel and the offices
Aurora is smaller and more residential, with a historic Yonge Street core and a number of corporate head offices; Magna International's headquarters is in Aurora. The Town of Aurora site has local information. A business traveller may book an Aurora pickup for a morning flight and an Aurora return for the evening, with the chauffeur tracking the flight in between.
Aurora is also a stop on GO Transit's Barrie line, and a chauffeur can drop you at the station for the train and meet you on the return if your schedule needs a car at one end. Our Union Station page covers the downtown end for VIA Rail, GO and the UP Express.
An hourly chauffeur from Newmarket or Aurora
Hourly is our lead product: one car and one professional chauffeur held for at least three hours or for the whole day, with 30-minute blocks after that. From Newmarket or Aurora it suits a day of meetings in Toronto, a run of site visits across York Region or a medical day that spans several clinics.
On the planning scale, all-in plus HST, a business sedan is $135–160 an hour, a business SUV $175–205, an executive SUV $225–265, a first-class sedan $350–410 and a Sprinter $475–550, each with a three-hour minimum. A four-hour sedan booking is $540–640. Our hourly chauffeur service page explains the mechanics, and hourly versus point to point helps you choose.
A day of meetings in Toronto
An executive in Newmarket who needs to be at three offices on Bay Street and two in the Financial District does not want to drive, park and walk. A chauffeur takes the car, drops at each address, waits while you meet and keeps the day moving. The 401 and the Don Valley are slow in rush hour, and a chauffeur who knows the bypasses saves time.
For the business sedan, the usual choice, the figures above apply; for a team of up to seven travelling together, the Jet Sprinter is a mobile boardroom at $650–750 an hour. Our corporate car service page explains accounts, receipts and how a company can set up several travellers.
Heading north: Barrie, cottage country and the ski hills
For residents of Newmarket and Aurora, a lot of our traffic runs north. Barrie is 60 km up the road, and beyond it are the Horseshoe Valley and Snow Valley ski areas, Casino Rama, Blue Mountain and Muskoka. A one-way transfer from your door to a lodge, with a chauffeur who knows the weekend traffic, avoids the long Friday drive.
On Friday afternoons the 400 and 11 fill with cottage traffic from mid-afternoon, and on Sundays the southbound crush peaks. A chauffeur can plan a departure to dodge the worst of it. See our Muskoka page, our ski resort transfers and our Casino Rama limo page for details of each.

Medical appointments and hospital visits
Southlake Health in Newmarket and Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill draw patients from across York Region, and specialist appointments in Toronto are common. A chauffeur who helps with a bag, waits through the appointment and drives home is a calm alternative to a family member taking a day off, or a taxi in the rain.
An hourly booking is the best fit: the car stays and you pay only for the time used in 30-minute blocks beyond the three-hour minimum. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle can be sent when booked in advance, with details of the wheelchair or scooter. See our medical appointments page for how the process works.
Weddings, anniversaries and nights out
Newmarket and Aurora are popular for weddings and milestone evenings: a bride and party collected, a ceremony, photographs, a reception. An hourly chauffeur keeps one car with the couple all day and a Sprinter moves up to fourteen guests. Our wedding limo page covers the options.
Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach cars and party buses come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and we label them as such. No alcohol is allowed in any vehicle we dispatch, partner limos and party buses included. For a date night or anniversary, a business or first-class sedan with an hourly chauffeur is the quietest way to do it.
Choosing the right vehicle
For two or three travellers with bags, the business sedan is the standard answer. A business SUV brings four-wheel-drive traction for a snowy Friday on the 404 and room for five; an executive SUV takes six with luggage and suits a family airport run; a luxury minivan is kinder to strollers and car seats; a Sprinter seats up to fourteen. A first-class sedan, an S-Class or 7 Series, is for the executive or the occasion.
For groups and stretch limousines, see our stretch limo and Sprinter group transportation pages. Partner vehicles are at most four model years old, or seven for Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley.
Children, pets and accessibility
Need a child seat? Infant, toddler and booster seats are on offer from $25 each, and you add them while booking. Pets are carried only with prior approval, so ask first and wait for written confirmation. A service animal is always welcome; just mention it when you book.
Limousines are not subject to special child-seat rules of their own, so the ordinary Ontario guidance in the province's guide to choosing a child car seat is the reference. If a passenger uses a wheelchair or scooter, reserve the wheelchair-accessible vehicle ahead of time and tell dispatch about the equipment.
How to book, and how cancellation works
Reservations are direct, with no app and no marketplace. Go to the reservation engine, enter where you start and where you are going, choose date, time and vehicle, and check the fixed fare before you confirm. If you also need flights, hotels or a package, the travel desk can arrange them alongside the ride.
Cancelling more than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup costs nothing. At 72 hours or less it is 10 per cent, at 48 hours or less 50 per cent, and at 24 hours or less, or on a no-show, 100 per cent. Multi-vehicle and coach jobs are quoted in writing by a coordinator.
