Limo service between Toronto and Barrie with BarrieLimo.net is a planning range of $420–485 for a business sedan from Union Station or downtown Toronto, all-in plus HST, about 114 km and 75–105 minutes by Highway 400 and the 401, tolls included. Toronto Pearson is $380–440. Hourly sedans are $135–160 an hour. Book direct.
Limo service in Toronto, run from Barrie
Some people who search "limo service toronto" want a car for a short hop between two downtown addresses. We are a Barrie, Ontario black car and limousine service with its own dispatch and chauffeurs, and the Toronto trips we do best are the long, planned ones: a Barrie home to Union Station, a Bay Street meeting day that starts at 7 a.m. in Simcoe County, a Leafs night from Innisfil, a patient visit to a Toronto hospital, an arrival at Pearson after a long flight, a cottage run north from a downtown hotel.
For those, book direct and the reservation engine shows one fixed fare before you confirm. For a ten-minute downtown hop, a local taxi or ride-hail is the economical choice, and below we say how to choose.
Fares between Barrie and Toronto
These are planning ranges, one way, between downtown Barrie and the Toronto destinations most people ask about, for a business sedan, all-in (chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route, airport fees, gratuity) with HST shown separately. The engine quotes your exact address, date and vehicle and never shows less than these ranges.
| From downtown Barrie to | Business sedan, all-in + HST | Distance | Drive time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | $380–440 | about 97 km | 60–85 min |
| Union Station / downtown Toronto | $420–485 | 114 km | 75–105 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ) | $445–510 | 115 km | 80–110 min |
Larger vehicles to Union Station or downtown Toronto:
| Vehicle | Passengers / bags | One way, Barrie ↔ downtown Toronto |
|---|---|---|
| Business SUV | 5 / 5 | $550–630 |
| Executive SUV | 6 / 6 | $660–760 |
| First-class sedan | 3 / 3 | $1,010–1,160 |
| Sprinter | up to 14 | $1,550–1,780 |
Toronto is large, and a pickup in the north end is a shorter run than one on the waterfront, so the engine prices the street address. See the rates page and our Barrie to downtown Toronto route page.
The route: Highway 400, the 401 and downtown
From Barrie the way south is Highway 400, past Bradford and King City, to the Highway 401 across the top of the city. From there, a chauffeur chooses between the Don Valley Parkway and the Gardiner Expressway, or arterial streets such as Bathurst and Spadina, depending on your downtown address and the day's traffic. The tolled 407 ETR can be the better choice at certain hours, and the fare you confirmed covers it.
Time of day changes everything. The Highway 400 southbound commute in the early morning, the 401 at almost any hour and the downtown core after 3 p.m. are the slow points. The range of 75 to 105 minutes is honest: mid-morning is near the low end, and a weekday arrival at 8:30 a.m. downtown is not. Give dispatch your appointment time and we plan back from it.
What the fixed fare includes
The fare covers the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, the 407 ETR and bridge tolls on the planned route, airport fees where they apply and gratuity. HST is shown on its own line. There is no meter in downtown gridlock and no surge price after a game.
On ordinary pickups the included waiting is 15 minutes before 15-minute blocks begin. At the airports it is 30 minutes on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals, counted from actual landing. Child seats can be added from $25 each at booking. The travel desk can add flights and hotels on the same file.
Hourly chauffeur for a day in Toronto
The hourly private chauffeur is our lead product: one car and one professional chauffeur kept for a three-hour minimum or all day. A sedan is $135–160 an hour all-in plus HST, a business SUV $175–205, an executive SUV $225–265, a first-class sedan $350–410, a Sprinter $475–550, and a Jet Sprinter (a VIP lounge Sprinter for seven) $650–750. A four-hour sedan booking is $540–640.
Toronto days run on a string of appointments: a morning on Bay Street, a lunch near King, a site visit, a late flight. An hourly car waits at every stop, keeps your luggage and documents in the back, and avoids downtown parking. Tell the engine your plan, and dispatch confirms how the hourly time is counted for a day that starts in Simcoe County. Our hourly vs point-to-point guide shows when the clock beats separate fares, and the executive roadshows post shows the day in practice.
Downtown drop-offs: King Street and the core
The King Street transit priority corridor between Bathurst and Jarvis restricts private cars: they may travel only a few blocks along it before turning right out of the corridor. Chauffeurs usually approach the financial district by east-west streets such as Wellington, Adelaide and Richmond, and the City of Toronto's corridor page explains the rules. Tell us the building name and the entrance, since lobby and loading zone can be on different streets.
Hotels and theatres have their own kerb arrangements, and event nights close streets near arenas. We plan the drop-off in advance and note it on the booking.

Union Station and Billy Bishop
Union Station is where VIA Rail, GO Transit and UP Express meet, and our Union Station page explains how we meet trains. For long-distance rail, check VIA Rail for schedules.
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport sits on the Toronto Island, reached by a pedestrian tunnel or a short ferry from the foot of Bathurst Street. Cars pick up and drop off at the mainland terminal on Eireann Quay. Barrie to Billy Bishop is $445–510 (115 km, 80–110 minutes). See the Billy Bishop airport page and the airport's official site; the ferry's city page has details.
Taxi from Toronto airport to Barrie, and Toronto to Barrie by taxi
Searches such as "taxi from toronto airport to barrie" and "toronto to barrie taxi" are usually about the same thing: a long ride out of Toronto with luggage. A metered cab's total follows distance and traffic, so the final figure can be a surprise; some companies quote a flat price if you ask in advance, and a ride-hail app should show you the fare before you confirm. Ask what is inside any quote: tolls, airport fees, waiting, gratuity.
A pre-booked BarrieLimo.net car from Pearson to Barrie is $380–440 for a sedan, all-in plus HST, with flight tracking and waiting counted from landing. Our flat-rate airport taxi alternative page explains the fixed-fare model. Our fares are not the lowest, and we say so; they are fixed, all-in and professionally driven.
GO train, shuttle or private car between Barrie and Toronto?
GO Transit's Barrie line connects Barrie's stations with Union Station; check GO Transit for schedules and fares, which we do not quote. For a solo commuter with a light bag, trains are usually the economical choice, and a shared shuttle can cost less than a car.
A private car fits the trips trains do not: luggage, a group, a late return, skis, a meeting that ends after the last convenient train, a rider who needs door to door, or a day with several stops. The price is per vehicle, not per seat. Our Barrie to Pearson GO train vs limo guide compares them, and the limo vs Uber vs GO train post covers the three-way decision.
Medical appointments in Toronto
Barrie and Simcoe County patients regularly travel to Toronto's downtown hospitals and clinics: University Health Network (UHN), SickKids and Sunnybrook are among the destinations. An hourly chauffeur suits an appointment day: the car drops you at the entrance, waits, and brings you home when you are ready, with a wheelchair-accessible vehicle available if you book in advance and describe the wheelchair or scooter.
See our medical appointments page. Give dispatch the building, the entrance, the appointment time and any mobility needs; we build margin into the pickup because hospital schedules and Toronto traffic are both unpredictable.
Games, concerts and theatre
An evening at Scotiabank Arena, the Rogers Centre or Budweiser Stage is a long night from Barrie, and traffic around the venues is heavy before and after. A pre-booked car, or an hourly chauffeur who waits nearby, solves the ride home. Read our Leafs, Raptors and Jays game-day guide and the concert limo post, and see concert and game-day limo.
We drive to venues and have no affiliation with any of them. Alcohol is not allowed in our vehicles, so plan your drinks for the venue and let the chauffeur handle the drive.
Festivals and shows
TIFF in September, the CNE in late summer, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in November and the Canadian International AutoShow in winter all bring road closures and crowds; check each official site for dates. Our Toronto events from Barrie page and the TIFF, CNE and Royal Winter Fair post explain how to plan the day.
Toronto hotels
For stays, our downtown Toronto hotels page explains where cars stop and how hourly bookings work from a lobby, and the Pearson airport hotels page covers the airport corridor. We drive to hotels and have no affiliation with any of them. Destination Toronto lists visitor information.
Toronto to cottage country
A Toronto cottage weekend goes up Highway 400 and Highway 11 through Barrie. On the Barrie side the planning fares run: Gravenhurst $310–355 (70 km, 45–55 minutes); Bracebridge $370–425 (90 km, 60–70 minutes); Port Carling $430–495 (110 km, 75–90 minutes); Huntsville $490–565 (130 km, 80–95 minutes).
A Toronto pickup is a longer run than those figures, so the engine's price for the whole trip is higher. Our cottage country car service page covers the rest. Friday afternoons northbound and Sunday afternoons southbound from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving are the worst times on the 400 and Highway 11.
Toronto to the ski hills and Blue Mountain
Snow Valley, Horseshoe Resort, Hardwood Ski and Bike, Mount St. Louis Moonstone and Blue Mountain are all day trips from Toronto. From Barrie, Horseshoe and Oro-Medonte are $180–205 (25 km, 20–30 minutes), Blue Mountain Village $300–345 (66 km, 60–70 minutes). A business SUV is $175–205 an hour hourly, with room for five and their skis. Our ski resort limo page has the full picture.
Toronto to Casino Rama
Casino Rama Resort is at Rama, east of Orillia: from Barrie, $230–265 for a business sedan (47 km, 35–45 minutes). From Toronto, a night there is a long evening, so an hourly chauffeur is the sensible plan; see the Casino Rama limo page and the resort's official site. We drive to Casino Rama with no affiliation to it. No alcohol on board.
Winter and weekend traffic on Highway 400
Barrie is in Ontario's snowbelt; lake-effect squalls can slow or close Highway 400 between Barrie and Highway 89 with little warning from November to March. Dispatchers check Ontario 511 before winter trips and build margin in. The Highway 400 winter travel guide explains the signs.
Corporate and group travel
A corporate car service account puts recurring Toronto runs on one file, and our Sprinter group transportation page covers crews and delegations. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce or Maybach and party buses are partner vehicles from vetted operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network; a stretch limousine starts at $400–470 an hour with a four-hour minimum. Alcohol is not allowed in any of our vehicles.
