Limo service Orillia from BarrieLimo.net: a black car and professional chauffeur, booked direct at BarrieLimo.net. Orillia to downtown Barrie is a planning $215-245 for a business sedan, about 38 km and 30-35 minutes. Orillia to Toronto Pearson is about 130 km, so the reservation engine quotes it directly. By the hour, a sedan is $135-160 with a three-hour minimum.
Limo service Orillia: what you can book
Orillia sits on the narrows between Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe, 38 km up Highway 11 from our dispatch desk in Barrie. People here book us for four jobs more than any other: a private car to Pearson, an evening at Casino Rama, a full day with one driver, and the long run home after a wedding or a hospital stay. Everything is booked on our own reservation engine at /book/, and the fare you see is the fare you pay.
You do not need to be in a hurry to use us. Many Orillia bookings are made weeks ahead for a 4 a.m. flight or a Saturday wedding, and the same form takes a same-day request when you need it.
How much is a limo from Barrie to Orillia?
One way between downtown Barrie and Orillia, a business sedan runs about $215-245 all-in plus HST, for roughly 38 km and 30-35 minutes. That figure covers the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, any tolls on the planned route, gratuity and our airport and venue fees where they apply. There is no meter and no surge pricing.
Treat the numbers below as planning ranges. The engine prices your exact pickup address, date, time and vehicle class and shows one fixed fare before you confirm. Our limo prices guide explains what moves a quote up or down.
| Trip (business sedan, one way) | Planning fare | Distance | Drive time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown Barrie to Orillia | $215-245 | 38 km | 30-35 min |
| Downtown Barrie to Casino Rama | $230-265 | 47 km | 35-45 min |
| Downtown Barrie to Lake Simcoe Regional Airport | $160-185 | 18 km | 20-25 min |
| Downtown Barrie to Toronto Pearson | $380-440 | about 97 km | 60-85 min |
Orillia to Pearson airport: distance, time and fare
Orillia to Toronto Pearson is about 130 km by road and a drive of roughly 1 hour 30 minutes with light traffic, longer on a Friday afternoon or after snow. The route is Highway 11 to the Highway 400 interchange at Barrie, then south on the 400 to the 407 or the 401 and 427, depending on the hour.
We do not print one fixed Orillia-to-Pearson number here because the engine builds it from your address. For scale, our planning table prices a 125 km trip (Owen Sound) at $475-545 and a 130 km trip (Huntsville) at $490-565 for a business sedan; open the booking form to see the exact fare for your pickup. For the Barrie leg alone see Barrie to Pearson.
Flights are tracked, so a late landing moves your pickup instead of costing you the car. The fare includes 30 minutes of waiting after a Canadian domestic or US flight lands and 60 minutes after other international arrivals.
Pearson airport to Orillia: arriving home
Coming the other way, the car meets you at the commercial pickup area at your terminal, which is what the fare includes. A name-board meet and greet inside arrivals is an optional add-on on the booking form. Terminals 1 and 3 are both served; your confirmation says where to stand. The official Pearson ground transportation page shows the pickup areas.
Allow for customs, bags and the walk. Many Orillia arrivals land after dinner and are home before midnight; a red-eye arrival is easier still, because the 400 and Highway 11 are quiet. See the Pearson airport guide for terminal-by-terminal tips.
Is there an Orillia airport shuttle?
Searches for an Orillia airport shuttle are common, and the honest answer is that it depends on the day and the operator. A shared shuttle seat, where one is offered, is usually the cheaper choice for one traveller on a flexible schedule. A private car is priced per vehicle rather than per seat, goes door to door from your driveway, leaves when you do, and does not stop to collect other passengers.
Two travellers with luggage, an early flight, a child seat or a connecting itinerary often find the private car the simpler option. Our airport shuttle alternative page sets the two side by side without the sales talk.
Orillia taxi or private car: which should you book?
For a short hop within Orillia, such as downtown to the hospital or the grocery store, a local cab is hard to beat and we would not pretend otherwise. Our minimum within Barrie starts at $110-125 and trips from Orillia begin at the 38 km mark, so a pre-booked car makes sense when the trip is long, early, late or has a purpose.
- Choose a taxi for short, spontaneous trips inside the city.
- Choose BarrieLimo.net for Pearson or Billy Bishop, for early flights, for several stops in a day, for a group, or when you want the price fixed in advance.
- Choose the bus when time is flexible: the County of Simcoe's LINX transit service links Orillia with Barrie, and Orillia has local transit as well; check the operator for current times and fares.
Hourly chauffeur in Orillia: keep one car all day
Our lead product is the hourly private chauffeur: one car and one driver at your disposal for a three-hour minimum or a whole day. A sedan is $135-160 an hour, a business SUV $175-205, an executive SUV $225-265 and a first-class sedan $350-410. A four-hour sedan booking is $540-640 all-in plus HST.
Hourly beats one-way whenever the day has more than one stop. A morning at a lawyer's office, lunch on Mississaga Street, a hospital appointment and the ride home is one booking, with the chauffeur waiting at every step. Extra time is added in 30-minute blocks. Read how it works on the hourly chauffeur service page.
Casino Rama from Orillia
Casino Rama Resort is at Rama, east of Orillia, a short drive from the city. Most guests book a return evening: the car takes you there, waits or returns at an agreed time, and brings you home so nobody drives after a long night. From downtown Barrie it is $230-265 each way for 47 km; from Orillia the engine quotes the shorter run. See Casino Rama limo for the evening in detail and the official Casino Rama site for shows and hours.
Alcohol is not allowed in our vehicles, including on the ride to or from a casino. Plan your celebrating for the venue and let the chauffeur handle the road.
Mariposa Folk Festival and Orillia events
The Mariposa Folk Festival sets up at Tudhope Park on Lake Couchiching, usually in early July; confirm dates on the festival site. Parking and road closures around the waterfront tighten quickly on festival weekends, which is exactly when a chauffeur who drops you at the gate and collects you at an agreed corner earns the fare.
On a hot festival Saturday, one car by the hour can run a family between a Barrie hotel, the park and dinner. Our Mariposa Folk Festival guide and the Mariposa limo post cover pickup planning. Orillia's own site lists other events on the City of Orillia website.
Leacock Museum, the Opera House and a day in town
Orillia is Stephen Leacock's Mariposa, and the Leacock Museum on Old Brewery Bay is one of the places visitors ask us to take them. Downtown, the Orillia Opera House programs touring shows and local theatre, and Couchiching Beach Park, with the Champlain Monument, is a short walk from Mississaga Street.
A theatre night works best on an hourly booking: collect the party from the hotel, drop at the door, wait nearby and take everyone home afterwards. Find the museum and hall through the Leacock Museum and Orillia Opera House sites for programming.
Hospital, campus and business trips
Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital (OSMH) serves the city and nearby townships, and Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie takes many Orillia patients for specialty care. We drive patients and companions to both, wait through appointments and bring them home: see medical appointments for how we plan around treatment times.
Lakehead University's Orillia campus is in the west end, and visiting parents, speakers and guests arrive by car from Pearson and from Barrie. Corporate accounts use the same booking form; our corporate car service page covers invoicing and repeat travel.
Weddings, proms and big nights from Orillia
Wedding season brings the longest days: a bride's morning, a church, photographs on the waterfront, a reception and the ride at midnight. Our own sedans, SUVs, vans and Sprinters cover guests and the wedding party. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach cars, party buses and coaches come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and a coordinator prices them in writing.
Stretch limousines book for four hours at $400-470 an hour, with a stretch SUV at $450-525. See wedding limo and prom limo. Alcohol is not allowed on board, including on party buses, stretch limos, weddings and proms.
Highway 11 and Highway 400: timing the trip
The drive follows Highway 11 south-west to the Highway 400 junction just north of Barrie. In normal traffic it is 30-35 minutes. From Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, cottage traffic slows the 400 and Highway 11 northbound on Friday afternoons and southbound on Sunday afternoons, worst on long weekends. In winter, squalls can slow or close sections of the 400 with little warning.
A chauffeur checks Ontario 511 before leaving and builds extra time into early flights. Read the Highway 400 winter travel guide before a snow-day booking.
Lake Simcoe Regional Airport, between Orillia and Barrie
Lake Simcoe Regional Airport (YLK) is in Oro-Medonte, off Highway 11 about 18 km north-east of downtown Barrie, which puts it on the road between Orillia and Barrie. It is a general-aviation and business-jet airport with no scheduled airline service; verify operators, customs and runway details on the airport's own site before you rely on them.
If you fly private, a chauffeur can meet the aircraft by arrangement and take you to Orillia, Muskoka or Toronto. Our YLK airport page and private aviation page have the details.
Cottage country and Muskoka from Orillia
Orillia is the first real step towards cottage country: Highway 11 carries on to Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville, while Highway 12 turns east to Midland and Georgian Bay. If you are opening a cottage for the season, closing it in October or meeting guests who arrive at Pearson, one car can do the whole circuit.
Cottage weekends are the busiest passenger weekends of the year, and a booking made on a Wednesday may not find the car you want. Reserve early and see cottage country car service and Muskoka for fares north of Orillia.
Hotels and where we pick up in Orillia
Pickup is at any address you give: a home, a hotel lobby, a cottage lane or a venue's side door. Our Orillia and Casino Rama hotels guide explains how hotel concierges and wedding planners can book a car for a guest; we are not affiliated with any hotel or venue.
Give the street number and a landmark, and mention gate codes or a narrow lane for cottage roads. For waterfront events, agree a pickup corner in advance because streets close.
Luggage, skis, pets and child seats
A business sedan holds three passengers and three bags; a business SUV, five and five; an executive SUV or luxury minivan, six and six; a Sprinter up to fourteen. Pick the class by the luggage, not just the passengers. Details are on the fleet page.
Child seats (infant, toddler and booster) are available from $25 each: add them at booking. Pets need prior approval, so request it on the form and wait for written confirmation; service animals are welcome and should be mentioned at booking. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available if booked in advance.
Changing or cancelling a booking
The cancellation rule is the same on every booking. More than 72 hours before pickup there is no charge. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10 per cent, at 48 hours or less 50 per cent, and at 24 hours or less, or for a no-show, 100 per cent, measured from the scheduled pickup.
Waiting time beyond the included 15 minutes at non-airport pickups is billed in 15-minute blocks, so tell the chauffeur if the appointment overruns. On an hourly booking, extra time is simply added in 30-minute blocks.
