Guests at hotels in Orillia and at the Casino Rama hotel can be met by BarrieLimo.net from downtown Barrie: Orillia is about 38 km, 30–35 minutes, planning range $215–245 for a business sedan, and Casino Rama is about 47 km, 35–45 minutes, $230–265, all-in plus HST with tolls included. Keep the same car for an evening and it becomes an hourly chauffeur, so nobody drives home.
Hotels in Orillia and at Casino Rama: how a chauffeured stay works
Orillia sits between Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe, 38 km north of downtown Barrie, and its hotel stock is split into two groups. One is the group of hotels in town along Memorial Avenue, the waterfront, the Westridge corner off Highways 11 and 12 and the Laclie Street strip. The other is the Casino Rama Resort hotel, a short drive east of Orillia, where a stay is usually built around a show or a gaming night.
BarrieLimo.net serves both groups from Barrie. A hotel is an address to us, so you book directly on our reservation engine, type the hotel name or street, and the engine shows a fixed all-in fare for the vehicle you pick: chauffeur, fuel, 407 ETR and bridge tolls on the planned route, gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter, no surge and no app. This page is for guests staying in Orillia and for the people driving or flying them there; our Orillia city page covers the wider town and our hotel hub lists every area we serve.
Which Orillia hotels do we pick up from?
We drive to any hotel in Orillia, and we have no partnership with any of them. The ones below were checked on 2 October 2026 against the town tourism office's own accommodations listing and a current booking listing; none showed as closed. The names and street addresses are theirs.
- Best Western Plus Orillia Hotel, 440 Couchiching Point Road, on the Lake Couchiching side of town.
- Best Western Plus Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre, 400 Memorial Avenue, with a conference centre attached.
- The Champlain Waterfront Hotel, an Ascend Hotel Collection, 2 Front Street North, a historic building on the waterfront.
- Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orillia, 8 Mulcahy Court, in the Westridge area off Highways 11 and 12.
- Comfort Inn, 75 Progress Drive.
- Quality Inn & Conference Centre, 201 Woodside Drive.
The tourism office also lists motels and the residence at Lakehead University's Orillia campus; see its accommodations page for the full list and current contact details.
The Casino Rama Resort hotel
Casino Rama's own site describes an all-suite hotel on the property, with a spa and indoor pool; check the hotel page and the resort site for the current room types, because the resort has been renovating. The reason it matters for transport is simple: if you sleep on site, the only rides you need are the one in and the one out.
Many guests treat the hotel as the safe end of a casino night: arrive by car, play or see a show at the entertainment centre, walk to bed. Our Casino Rama limo service and the Casino Rama attraction page cover the arrival side, and the Barrie to Casino Rama route page has the drive in detail. We are a transport company driving to the resort; we have no affiliation with it.
Hotels near Casino Rama: stay on site or in Orillia?
People searching for hotels near Casino Rama are usually choosing between the resort's own suites and a hotel in Orillia. The practical differences are about the evening, not the room. Sleep at the resort and you can stay late with no ride to arrange. Sleep in Orillia and you have a restaurant choice and a lakefront walk, but you need a car both ways every night.
If you stay in Orillia, a pre-booked car solves the gap. Ask your hotel whether it runs its own casino shuttle and what hours it covers, because those arrangements are the hotel's and change; if it does not, or you want to leave at your own time, book a car by the hour. Do not count on finding a taxi at 1 a.m. outside the casino on a winter Saturday.

A return trip is priced as two one-way legs. Compare the whole list on the rates page or with the fare calculator, and see the vehicles on the fleet page.
Orillia hotel to Pearson airport: the block people search for
"Orillia to Pearson airport" is a real search, and the honest answer is that it is the longest leg in this part of our map. Orillia is roughly 38 km further up Highway 11 and 400 than downtown Barrie, so the quote from an Orillia hotel to Toronto Pearson will come in above the Barrie planning range of $380–440 (about 97 km, 60–85 minutes). The engine prices your hotel address exactly, which is better than a guess printed here.
Plan the time, not only the money. From Orillia, allow the Barrie drive time plus the half hour to Barrie, then add the winter and cottage-weekend slack described below. For a 6 a.m. flight, that means a departure in the small hours; the Barrie early morning flights guide explains how we back-time a pickup, and the Pearson airport page covers terminals and curbside meeting.
Taxi or private car from an Orillia hotel?
Local taxis are the first thing people search for in Orillia, and for a short hop across town a taxi is a reasonable choice. We do not compete there. Where a pre-booked car makes sense is the long or timed run: to Casino Rama and back, to Pearson, to Union Station, to a wedding venue in Oro-Medonte, or for any trip where you want the price confirmed in advance.
Two honest points. A meter is cheaper than a fixed fare for a five-minute ride, and a taxi can be the right answer for that. But a fixed all-in fare with tolls and gratuity included is easier to budget for a 38 to 97 km trip, the car and chauffeur are yours rather than a queue, and the vehicle is a black sedan or SUV rather than whatever is next on the rank. Our flat-rate airport taxi alternative page sets out the comparison.
Casino night by the hour: why hourly beats one-way
A one-way fare to Casino Rama prices a lift. An hourly booking prices a night. Keep a sedan or SUV and chauffeur for four or five hours and the car waits outside while you have dinner, see a show, play, and leave when you choose, with no second booking and no one watching the clock for a pickup. Hourly planning figures are $135–160 an hour for a business sedan and $175–205 for a business SUV, three-hour minimum, all-in plus HST; a four-hour sedan booking is $540–640.
For a group of two to four the maths often favours hourly, because you pay for the vehicle, not the seat, and the waiting costs the same whether you win or lose. Read the hourly versus point-to-point guide and the hourly chauffeur service page for the rules on blocks and extra time. Alcohol is not allowed on board our vehicles, so the chauffeur is also the plan for getting everyone home sober.

Highway 11, Highway 400 and winter between Barrie and Orillia
The road is straightforward: Highway 400 north out of Barrie, then Highway 11 north-east to Orillia, with Casino Rama a short drive east of town. Normal conditions are 30–35 minutes to Orillia. The trouble is weather. Barrie is in Ontario's snowbelt, and lake-effect squalls from Georgian Bay can slow Highway 400 and Highway 11 with little warning from November to March.
We watch Ontario 511 and the forecast from Environment Canada before a winter run, put the car on winter tires and leave margin, which is the quiet reason people book a chauffeur here. Our Highway 400 winter travel guide has more. If a squall closes the road, we tell you before you leave rather than after you are stuck.
Cottage weekends, long weekends and the Friday crush
From Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, Highway 400 and Highway 11 northbound fill on Friday afternoons and southbound on Sundays, worst on long weekends. A 35-minute Orillia drive becomes 60 on the wrong Friday. For a hotel guest that means two rules: ask for a pickup before the traffic, not into it, and keep your return time flexible.
An Orillia hotel can be a good base for a cottage weekend you do not want to drive. The cottage country car service page covers longer runs, and the Orillia and Mariposa blog guide covers the town itself. Book early for a long weekend; the reservation engine shows the fare before you commit.
Mariposa, weekends and busy nights in Orillia
Orillia fills its hotels around summer festival weekends, long weekends and big nights at Casino Rama. The Mariposa Folk Festival is held at Tudhope Park in Orillia; confirm its dates on the festival's own site because we do not print dates for events that can move. Our Mariposa Folk Festival page and the Casino Rama concerts page explain the transport side.
On those weekends the sensible plan is to book the ride with the hotel: pick the car for the arrival, a second booking for the return, and an hourly block for the night itself. The car will not sit in a queue of other drivers hoping for a fare.

Flying in: Pearson to your Orillia hotel
Arriving at Pearson and heading for Orillia is one booking: the chauffeur meets you at the terminal's commercial pickup area with your flight tracked, you walk out with your bags, and the car heads north up Highway 400 and on to Highway 11. Included waiting is 30 minutes after actual landing on Canadian domestic and US flights, 60 minutes on other international arrivals. A name-board meet and greet inside Arrivals is an optional add-on chosen at booking.
Compare it honestly with the alternatives. There is no direct train or GO bus from Pearson to Orillia, so the public route means a connection and a last-mile ride from a bus stop. Read the Pearson airport guide and the Barrie to Pearson route page for the first 97 km, and the airport shuttle alternative page for the shared-seat comparison.
Groups: wedding guests, conference delegates and team stays
Two of the hotels above, the Best Western Plus Mariposa Inn and the Quality Inn, carry conference centres in their names, and Lakehead University's Orillia campus hosts its own conferences, so delegate and wedding-party arrivals are common. A group of eight to fourteen travels best in an executive Sprinter; the Casino Rama planning range is $920–1,060 one way from downtown Barrie, and the engine prices an Orillia hotel address the same way.
Party buses and stretch limousines are partner vehicles from vetted operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network; we say so plainly. Alcohol is not allowed in any of them when we book them, whether for a bachelor party, a wedding or a prom. Our party bus page explains partner vehicles and how weddings and multi-vehicle jobs are priced in writing by a coordinator.
Children, luggage, skis and pets
Child, toddler and booster seats are available on request from $25 each, added at booking. A business sedan takes three passengers and three bags; a business SUV takes five and five; an executive SUV or luxury minivan six and six. Check the fleet page when you are travelling with strollers or hockey bags.
Pets need prior approval: ask at booking and wait for written confirmation. Service animals are welcome; mention them when you book. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available if booked in advance; tell us about the wheelchair or scooter. Nothing about a hotel pickup changes these rules.
Where the car waits at your hotel
At an Orillia hotel the chauffeur normally waits at the main entrance or in the front loop. At the Casino Rama Resort hotel they wait where the resort allows pre-arranged cars, and the dispatcher confirms the spot on your confirmation. If your hotel has a one-way drive or a busy conference entrance, we message the car's colour, plate and position.
Included waiting on a hotel pickup is 15 minutes, then 15-minute blocks. If you are on an hourly booking none of this applies, because the car is simply with you. Cancellation is by the sitewide rule: more than 72 hours before pickup is free; 72 hours or less is 10 %; 48 hours or less is 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 %.
Book your Orillia or Casino Rama hotel ride
Start at /book/: enter the hotel, the date and time, the number of travellers and the vehicle, and the engine returns a fixed fare. Concierges, wedding planners and travel agents can book directly for guests, and our travel desk can also sort flights and hotel nights in the same file when you are coming from further away.
If you are still choosing where to stay, our other hotel pages cover Barrie hotels, Horseshoe Valley resorts and Friday Harbour and Innisfil, and the Oro-Medonte page covers the countryside between Barrie and Orillia. Responsible play: if gaming is part of the night, PlaySmart, the responsible-gambling resource run by OLG, is worth a look.
