A Barrie to Casino Rama limo with BarrieLimo.net is a planning range of $230–265 all-in for a business sedan (plus HST), covering about 47 km in 35–45 minutes via Highway 11 and Orillia. A business SUV runs roughly $300–345 and a Sprinter $920–1,060. Book two one-way trips, or an hourly chauffeur who waits and brings you home.
Barrie to Casino Rama limo: fares, distance and drive time
Here is the number most people want first. The table shows planning ranges for a one-way transfer between downtown Barrie and Casino Rama Resort at Rama, east of Orillia, in either direction. Every figure is all-in: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, any toll on the planned route, gratuity and fees. HST is shown separately when you book direct.
| Vehicle | Passengers / bags | Barrie ↔ Casino Rama (one way) | Distance | Drive time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | 3 / 3 | $230–265 | about 47 km | 35–45 min |
| Business SUV | 5 / 5 | $300–345 | about 47 km | 35–45 min |
| Luxury minivan | 6 / 6 | quoted by the engine | about 47 km | 35–45 min |
| Executive SUV | 6 / 6 | $360–415 | about 47 km | 35–45 min |
| First-class sedan | 3 / 3 | $620–715 | about 47 km | 35–45 min |
| Sprinter | up to 14 | $920–1,060 | about 47 km | 35–45 min |
| Jet Sprinter (VIP lounge) | 7 / 5 | $1,290–1,485 | about 47 km | 35–45 min |
These are planning figures, not a quote. The reservation engine prices your exact pickup address, date, time and vehicle and shows one fixed number before you confirm. A night out rarely runs to a schedule, which is why the hourly chauffeur service exists: one car and one chauffeur kept for as long as you need, with a 3-hour minimum.
How far is Casino Rama from Barrie?
Casino Rama Resort is about 47 km from downtown Barrie, and the drive takes 35 to 45 minutes in normal conditions. You leave Barrie on Highway 11, the road that peels off Highway 400 just north of the city, run through Orillia and carry on east to Rama. The resort lists its address as Rama Road, and the chauffeur uses it automatically once you choose the resort at booking.
For context, downtown Orillia is 38 km and 30 to 35 minutes from Barrie, so Rama is a little further along. If you want dinner in Orillia first, that is a natural stop on the way, and our Orillia page has the fare for it. Our Casino Rama attraction page and Casino Rama limo service page cover the venue and the service in more depth, and this page focuses on the trip from Barrie.
Taxi, bus or private car to Casino Rama
| Option | Best for | Honest trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Private car (BarrieLimo.net) | Groups, birthdays, winter nights, a fixed price both ways | Priced per vehicle; a solo traveller may find a shared seat costs less |
| Coach or shuttle package | Larger groups on a set schedule | Set pickup points, fixed departure and return times |
| Taxi | A single short trip | Metered, and a return pickup after midnight is not guaranteed |
| Driving yourself | Anyone happy to stay sober | You are the designated driver for the whole night |
A taxi from Barrie to Casino Rama is possible, and it works on the way there. The difficulty is the way back at 1 a.m., when the meter is running, the car may not be waiting and your options are limited. A pre-booked car solves that: the return time is agreed in advance, or the chauffeur is simply with you. The fixed fare does not apologise for being priced as a commercial black car; it explains itself in what it removes from your evening.
Is there a bus or shuttle to Casino Rama from Barrie?
This is one of the most common questions from Barrie. Casino Rama's own website lists VIP coach and charter bus service among its transportation options, so if you want a coach, start with the Casino Rama official site and confirm pickup points, times and return times directly with them. We do not run scheduled seat sales to the resort and we do not describe anyone else's schedule.
What we offer instead is a private vehicle that leaves when you want, from the address you choose, with a fixed fare per vehicle. For a group of six, that is one SUV or van rather than six separate tickets. For larger parties, a Sprinter takes up to 14, and partner limo buses and party buses from vetted operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network take more; see the party bus rental page.
Wait-and-return or two one-way trips?
This is the decision that shapes your budget. A casino night is long, and the car has to be somewhere. There are two sensible ways to book it.
Two one-way trips. Book the outbound ride now and the return as a second trip with a pickup time you choose, or a pickup time you change later by contacting dispatch. You pay the fixed fare for each trip and nothing for the hours you spend inside. This usually suits a planned evening with a defined end time.
An hourly chauffeur. The car and chauffeur stay with you for the night, billed by the hour with a 3-hour minimum: a business sedan is $135–160 per hour, a business SUV $175–205 and a Sprinter $475–550. A 4-hour sedan booking is $540–640 all-in plus HST. This suits an open-ended night, a group that wants to leave on its own timing, or a night that includes dinner in Orillia, a show and the casino floor.
Ask the reservation engine to price both for your date and group, then compare the two totals before you decide.
A casino night with a chauffeur, step by step
- Book direct. Choose one way, return or hourly on the reservation engine, with your Barrie address and Casino Rama as the destination.
- Pickup. The chauffeur arrives at the time you chose, helps with coats and bags and takes Highway 11 north.
- Arrival. The car stops at the resort's drop-off area, and the chauffeur tells you where the return pickup will be.
- Your night. Enjoy dinner, a show or the gaming floor. On a one-way booking you call or message dispatch when you are ready; on an hourly booking the chauffeur is nearby.
- The ride home. You are driven back to Barrie, door to door, with nothing to arrange at midnight.
The route: Highway 11, Orillia and Rama
The road is straightforward: Highway 11 north from Barrie to Orillia, then east to Rama. There are no 407 ETR tolls and no bridge tolls on this trip. The first stretch is highway, and then the route follows local roads through Orillia and out to the resort.
Timing depends on the day. A weekday afternoon is usually near the 35-minute end. Friday and Saturday evenings add traffic through Orillia, and summer cottage-country weekends, from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, can crowd Highway 11 northbound on Friday afternoons and southbound on Sunday afternoons. Road conditions are on Ontario 511, and our dispatchers watch them for you.

Friday nights, concert nights and busy weekends
Casino Rama has a dedicated Entertainment Centre, so concert and show nights are some of its busiest. We do not publish performance dates because they change; check the resort's official site for the schedule, then book the car around it. See our Casino Rama concerts page and concert and game day limo page for how event transfers work.
On a show night, plan the pickup earlier than you think. Traffic can build around Rama before and after a performance, and the pickup area can be busy when a show lets out. If you book an hourly chauffeur, you can leave the moment you are ready instead of waiting in a queue of cars. Tell dispatch your show time and we will recommend a pickup that suits the doors-open and finish times.
Age, ID and the resort's rules
Casino Rama states that you must be 19 years of age or older with valid government-issued photo identification to enter the Entertainment Centre and gaming floor, and that guests aged 21 and younger must also have a secondary piece of name identification. Those are the resort's rules, not ours, and the resort can change them, so read the official site before you travel.
For a birthday group, check that everyone is eligible before you book the car. Our rules for the vehicle are separate: you must tell us the number of passengers at booking, child seats are available on request from $25 each, and pets travel only with prior approval confirmed in writing. Service animals are welcome and you should mention them when you book. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available if you book in advance.

Why there is no drinking in the car
Alcohol is not allowed in our vehicles. That applies on the way there and on the way home, and it applies to party buses, stretch limousines and every other vehicle we send. We are plain about this because it is a rule our owner has set, and it protects the chauffeur, the vehicle and every passenger.
The practical point is the one people book a chauffeur for: nobody needs to drive. Whatever you decide to do at the resort, you do not have to calculate whether you are fit to drive 47 km home. The chauffeur does that part, and the fixed fare is the price of that peace of mind. If you are planning a group celebration, discuss the evening with a coordinator beforehand.
Play responsibly
Gaming is entertainment, not income, and it is worth deciding in advance how much time and money you will spend. Ontario's PlaySmart site publishes tools and information about responsible gambling, and ConnexOntario offers confidential help for anyone concerned about their own or someone else's gambling.
We are not a gaming operator, and we have no stake in what happens at the tables. Our role is the ride: on time, on the fixed fare, with a chauffeur who gets you there and home safely. If you want the return pickup time to act as a natural stopping point, set it at booking and ask dispatch to hold you to it.
Groups: birthdays, stag nights and ladies' nights
Casino Rama is a popular group destination, and the vehicle you choose changes the evening. A business SUV takes five, an executive SUV or luxury minivan takes six, and a Sprinter takes up to 14 with luggage space. For bigger parties, stretch limousines and party buses are partner vehicles from vetted operators; a partner stretch limousine is from $400–470 per hour with a 4-hour minimum, and a party bus is $550–650 per hour with a 4 to 5 hour minimum.
Remember that no alcohol may be consumed on board, even in a party bus, and that partner vehicles are no more than four model years old. Large groups and party buses are priced in writing by a coordinator, so tell us the head count and the timing early.
Winter nights on Highway 11
Barrie is in Ontario's snowbelt, and lake-effect squalls can slow or close sections of the highways between November and March with little warning. A heavy squall changes the arithmetic on any of them. Our chauffeurs run winter tires from November to April.
A four-wheel-drive business SUV is a common choice for winter casino nights, and our Highway 400 winter travel guide explains how dispatch decides when to leave earlier. If the forecast looks poor, we will tell you before you set out, and you can reschedule under our cancellation rule, which is measured from the scheduled pickup.
Staying over: hotels at Rama and in Orillia
If the plan is a night away rather than a night out, the car goes to your hotel instead of your front door, and the return is a morning pickup instead of a midnight one. Casino Rama Resort has an on-site hotel, according to its own website, and Orillia has a range of places to stay. Our Orillia and Casino Rama hotels page explains how transfers work for hotel guests.
We drive to these places and we are not affiliated with any of them. For a weekend of concerts, dinner and a hotel night, a coordinator can quote an hourly day or two one-way trips. The same approach works for a Muskoka weekend, and our Barrie to Muskoka route shows the fares for that.
Coming home: late pickups and tracking
The return is where a chauffeur matters most. On a two-trip booking, send dispatch a message when you are leaving the gaming floor, and the car is brought to the pickup area. On an hourly booking, the chauffeur is nearby and you simply walk out.
Included waiting on a non-airport pickup is 15 minutes, then 15-minute blocks. So if the plan is a fixed return time, be at the pickup area at that time. If you are running late, tell dispatch before the time, not after. Everyone is dropped at the door in Barrie, or at a different address if the night has moved on.
What the fixed fare includes
The fare the engine shows includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, any 407 ETR and bridge tolls on the planned route (none are needed for this trip), fees and gratuity. HST is shown separately. There is no meter and no surge pricing, so a Saturday night costs the same as a Tuesday afternoon for the same trip.
Cancellations are measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before is free, 72 hours or less is 10 %, 48 hours or less is 50 %, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 %. For a night out booked weeks ahead, it is worth confirming your group size before the 72-hour mark.
