BarrieLimo.net provides corporate car service in Barrie built on the hourly executive chauffeur: one car and one driver held for a three-hour minimum or a full day of meetings and site visits, from $135–160 per hour in a business sedan. Staff and visitor transfers to Toronto Pearson run $380–440 one way for about 97 km. Fares are fixed, all-in and booked direct.
Corporate car and limo service in Barrie, organised around the working day
Business travel in Simcoe County rarely fits a single ride. A visiting director lands at Pearson, comes up Highway 400, tours a plant in Alliston, has lunch in Barrie, sees a second site near Innisfil and flies out that evening. Five legs, four periods of waiting, and one person whose time is expensive. Our answer is the hourly chauffeur service: a car and chauffeur assigned to that traveller for the whole day, waiting at every stop, with the itinerary in the chauffeur's hands before the first pickup.
Where the need really is one ride, such as an employee flying out on Monday morning, a one-way transfer at a fixed fare does the job. Both are described in commercial terms on the corporate car service page; this page is about how a company works with us over time.
What a company gets from an account
- One dispatch desk, staffed at all hours, that knows your travellers and your sites.
- Fixed all-in fares: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route, airport fees and gratuity, with HST as a separate line.
- A booking reference of your choosing, such as a cost centre or project code, carried on each confirmation.
- Traveller preferences kept on file: vehicle class, pickup door, a quiet car or a talkative one.
- Bookings made by an assistant or travel coordinator on behalf of the passenger.
- The same cancellation terms on every booking, so finance can predict the cost of a changed plan.
To set one up, send the company details through the contact page and dispatch will reply with the next steps.
The executive chauffeur by the hour or by the day
A business sedan is a planning range of $135–160 per hour and a first-class sedan $350–410, each with a three-hour minimum; four hours in the business sedan is $540–640 all-in plus HST. Time past the booked block is added in 30-minute steps. For a full-day programme the chauffeur arrives early, has the route loaded, and keeps the car close to the door at each stop.
What the client is really buying is slack. A meeting that runs forty minutes long does not strand anyone, because the car has nowhere else to be. Calls can be taken privately between stops. Samples, drawings and laptops stay locked in the vehicle. The same reasoning is set out for individuals on the private chauffeur page.
Airport transfers for staff and visitors
Toronto Pearson is about 97 km and 60–85 minutes from downtown Barrie. The planning range is $380–440 in a business sedan, $490–565 in a business SUV and $580–665 in an executive SUV for a team of five or six. Flights are tracked; 30 minutes of waiting are included after domestic and US arrivals and 60 minutes after other international arrivals, counted from actual landing. Pickup is curbside at the terminal's commercial pickup area, and a visitor who has never been to Canada can be met inside arrivals with a name board if meet and greet is added on the form.
Billy Bishop, convenient for short-haul flights that also involve downtown Toronto, is about 115 km and 80–110 minutes, $445–510. For each airport see the airports hub.

Site visits: Alliston, Angus and the Highway 400 corridor
The employers our corporate clients visit are spread along the highway system, not gathered downtown. Honda of Canada Mfg. is at Alliston, about 45 km and 40–50 minutes from Barrie by Highway 400 and Highway 89, a planning range of $240–275 one way. CFB Borden lies beside Angus, 20 km out along Highway 90, $165–190. Bradford's industrial areas are 40 km south, $225–260, and Orillia is 38 km up Highway 11, $215–245.
A site visit day is a natural hourly booking. The chauffeur knows which gate takes visitors, waits through the tour and is ready when the group comes out in safety boots. For multi-city programmes with investors or auditors, see roadshows and site visits.

Meetings in Toronto and back the same day
Barrie to the financial district is about 114 km and 75–105 minutes, $420–485 one way in a business sedan. For a day of meetings on Bay Street the hourly booking usually makes more sense than two transfers: the chauffeur stays downtown, moves the client between addresses, and leaves for home when the last meeting ends, not when a pre-set return slot arrives.
Some clients take the GO Transit Barrie line from Allandale Waterfront or Barrie South to Union Station and use us only at the Barrie end; we meet those trains too, and track them. Check the timetable on the day, since service patterns change.
Private aviation at Lake Simcoe Regional
Company and charter aircraft use Lake Simcoe Regional Airport in Oro-Medonte, about 18 km and 20–25 minutes from downtown Barrie, a planning range of $160–185 in a sedan. The airport's own site describes a runway of roughly 6,000 feet, on-site customs clearance and fixed-base operator services; confirm arrangements for a particular flight with the operator. We coordinate arrival times with the crew or the flight department and have the vehicle positioned before the aircraft is on the ground. See private aviation at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport.
Vehicles for a corporate programme
- Business sedan: one to three travellers; the default for transfers and meeting days.
- First-class sedan: an S-Class or 7 Series for a principal or a guest of honour.
- Business SUV: four or five people, or anyone travelling in January.
- Executive SUV: six seats, six bags; a delegation in one vehicle.
- Sprinter: up to fourteen for a crew, a board or a client group, $475–550 per hour.
- Jet Sprinter: seven lounge seats and work tables, $650–750 per hour, for a leadership team that wants to prepare on the road.
Coaches for larger groups are partner vehicles and are priced in writing. Seats and luggage for every class are on the fleet page.
Conferences, galas and client entertainment
Barrie's corporate calendar runs through its hotels and resorts: conferences at Horseshoe Valley, off-sites at Blue Mountain, golf days across Simcoe County, client evenings at a Colts game or at Casino Rama. For an event, give us the delegate list and the programme. We build an arrival manifest by flight, run shuttle loops between hotel and venue, and keep a car on standby for speakers. Details are under corporate events and galas. One rule applies to client entertainment as to everything else: alcohol is not allowed on board our vehicles.
Crews, contractors and shift transport
Construction teams, film units, outage contractors and seasonal resort staff often need moving at fixed times between accommodation and a site. Sprinters handle up to fourteen per vehicle; partner minicoaches and coaches take over above that. A standing schedule can be set for the length of a project and adjusted week by week. See employee and crew shuttles.
Hospitals, the college and public-sector visitors
Not every organisational client is a company. Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre receives visiting specialists, locums and candidates; Georgian College hosts guest lecturers, examiners and industry partners; municipal and county offices welcome delegations. The service is the same: an arrival transfer from Pearson, a chauffeur for the day, and a departure timed to the flight, with the department's reference on the confirmation.
Winter reliability on the 400
A corporate schedule has to survive February. Our vehicles run on winter tires from November to April, and dispatch reads the forecast and Ontario 511 before every departure in squall season. The trouble spot is Highway 400 between Barrie and Highway 89, where lake-effect snow off Georgian Bay can cut visibility to nothing while Toronto sits under clear sky. When that is forecast, dispatch proposes an earlier pickup or an SUV, and tells the booker why. The fare does not change with the weather.
Summer Fridays and other timing traps
From Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, cottage traffic loads the northbound 400 on Friday afternoons and the southbound lanes on Sunday afternoons. A visitor landing at Pearson at three on a Friday in July should be told to expect the top end of the 60–85 minute window, or more on a long weekend. We plan around it: morning arrivals where the choice exists, the 407 ETR across the top of Toronto when the 401 is slow, and realistic times given to the people waiting at the other end.
Confidentiality and duty of care
Chauffeurs do not discuss who they drive or where, and they do not repeat what they overhear. Vehicles are unmarked. For a travel manager, duty of care means knowing a traveller was collected, where the car is and when it arrived; dispatch can confirm each of those on request, at any hour. A second chauffeur can be assigned for very long days, and overnight programmes with the chauffeur staying over are arranged at booking.
Cross-border and long-distance business trips
Some business trips do not involve an airport at all. Barrie to Ottawa is about 410 km and 4.25–5 hours, $1,315–1,510 one way; Detroit is 470 km and 4.75–5.75 hours plus the border, $1,490–1,715; Buffalo airport is 265 km. NEXUS-holding chauffeurs can be requested for border runs, and passengers carry their own documents. The time in the car is working time, which is the argument for the car over a short flight with two airport transfers attached.
Fixed fares, cancellation and changes
Every booking carries the sitewide cancellation terms: no charge more than 72 hours before pickup, 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less and 100 % at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. A delayed flight is tracked and is not a cancellation. All fares, multipliers and local minimums are published on the rates page.
How your company books
Individual trips are reserved on the reservation engine on any page or on the booking page, direct with BarrieLimo.net, with no app and no aggregator in between. Programmes with several vehicles, a recurring schedule or an event manifest go to a coordinator, who confirms the plan and the price in writing.
