BarrieLimo.net drives guests to Blue Mountain Village hotels from downtown Barrie for a planning $300–345 in a business sedan, all-in plus HST (about 66 km, 60–70 minutes), and to Collingwood hotels for $275–315 (57 km, 50–60 minutes). Executive SUVs and Sprinters carry skis and groups. Hourly chauffeurs start at $135–160 an hour. Book direct.

Blue Mountain hotels car service: what you are booking

Blue Mountain is where most of Ontario goes to ski, and Collingwood below it is where many visitors end up sleeping, eating and shopping. From Barrie, both are a straight run west on the Highway 26 corridor, but the road is a different animal in a winter squall or on a Friday afternoon. A chauffeur from BarrieLimo.net turns the drive into a booked arrival: a named driver, a black car at your door and a fixed fare shown before you confirm.

You book your Blue Mountain car in our own reservation engine. It asks for the pickup address or flight, the number of travellers and bags, and the vehicle you want. The price it shows is all-in: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter, no surge and no app. Blue Mountain, its lodging and the Collingwood hotels are places we drive to, and we have no affiliation with any of them.

Planning fares from Barrie to Blue Mountain and Collingwood

These figures are business-sedan planning ranges, one way, all-in plus HST, from downtown Barrie. The larger vehicles follow our fixed ratios for trips of 40 km or more: a business SUV about 1.3 times the sedan, an executive SUV about 1.6 times and a Sprinter about 4 times, rounded to the nearest $5.

Where to stay at Blue Mountain Resort and the Village

Blue Mountain Resort's own lodging page lists five types of stay: the Blue Mountain Inn, Mosaic Suites, Resort Homes, Village Suites and The Westin Trillium House, Blue Mountain. The resort's address is 190 Gord Canning Drive in The Blue Mountains, and the lodging page notes that overnight guests receive added value such as parking and Wi-Fi. See the official lodging page for current rooms and the Blue Mountain site for lift and event information.

We pick up at the lodging you are staying in. Put the name of the building, such as the inn or Westin, and your booking reference at the hotel in the notes. Check the resort's arrival instructions for where cars may stop in the Village; the chauffeur will meet you at that point, and the front desk can tell you if you are unsure.

Collingwood or Blue Mountain: where to stay for the car

For a ski weekend, Blue Mountain Village puts you at the lifts, so the car mostly appears at the start and end of the stay. Collingwood puts you in a real town with restaurants and shops, and a short drive from the hill. The cost to us is similar: Collingwood is a planning $275–315 from Barrie against $300–345 for the Village, so the difference is small.

For a spa-and-dinner weekend, Collingwood is easier to walk around. For a family ski week, the Village is simpler. If you stay in Collingwood and ski at Blue Mountain every day, an hourly chauffeur or a daily round trip is often cheaper and calmer than the parking and the drive. Our Collingwood page and Collingwood limo guide cover the town side.

Pearson to Blue Mountain and Collingwood

There is no direct public transport from Pearson to Blue Mountain. A private car from Pearson drives Highway 400 north and the Highway 26 corridor west, a long day trip rather than a short hop, so the engine quotes the exact fare for your vehicle and hotel. The Pearson to Barrie leg alone is about 97 km and 60 to 85 minutes, with the Barrie to Blue Mountain run another 60 to 70 minutes on top.

Flights are tracked, and the chauffeur meets you curbside at Pearson's commercial pickup area, with 30 minutes of waiting included on Canadian domestic and US arrivals and 60 minutes on other international arrivals, counted from actual landing. See the Pearson airport page and the Barrie to Pearson route page.

The ski-day plan: skis, boards and the drive

Tell us at booking how many people are skiing, how many ski or snowboard bags you have, and whether there are children. Boots and helmets in carry bags count as luggage. A business SUV takes five passengers and five bags, an executive SUV six and six, and a Sprinter up to 14, so a family of five with skis fits an executive SUV more comfortably than a sedan.

The simplest arrangement for an overnight stay is a one-way transfer in and another out. For a day trip from Barrie, an hourly booking beats two one-way fares because the car waits: a business sedan is a planning $135–160 an hour, a business SUV $175–205 and an executive SUV $225–265, all-in plus HST, with a 3-hour minimum. Our ski resort transfers page compares the options and the Blue Mountain day-trip article walks through a day.

Spa evenings and après-ski

Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain is a short drive from the Village, and many guests pair a ski day with a spa evening. Check hours, reservations and rules on the Scandinave Spa site before you book the car. For a spa evening from Barrie, an hourly booking is a good fit: the chauffeur takes you, waits or returns for your slot, and drives you home when you are ready.

Alcohol is not allowed in our vehicles, including on the ride home from après-ski. The chauffeur will not allow drinking on board. If your group is going out for the evening, plan any celebration for the venue and let the chauffeur do the driving. See the Scandinave Spa page and the Blue Mountain Village page.

Summer on Georgian Bay

Blue Mountain and Collingwood are not only winter destinations. The resort promotes hiking and biking in summer, with the Niagara Escarpment and the Bruce Trail close by, and Collingwood's waterfront is on Georgian Bay. Wasaga Beach, the long sandy beach 40 km from Barrie, is a planning $225–260 for a business sedan one way.

A summer weekend is the second busiest time for the roads, with Friday-afternoon and Sunday-evening congestion on the Highway 26 corridor, so the car's value is mostly in the timing. See the Wasaga Beach page, the Collingwood town site and the Wasaga Beach site for what is on.

Friday, Sunday and snow squalls

On winter Fridays the road west from Barrie fills with skiers, and on Sunday afternoon the return does the same. Add a lake-effect squall off Georgian Bay and a 60-minute drive can double. Our chauffeurs watch the road conditions from the evening before and will suggest leaving earlier when the forecast turns.

You can check the same information on Ontario 511. Plan a margin for ski-lift closing times and dinner reservations, and tell us the hard deadlines. Our winter driving safety article and the Highway 400 winter travel guide explain how dispatch plans around the weather.

Hourly chauffeur for a Blue Mountain day

The hourly private chauffeur is our lead product. One car and one professional chauffeur stay with you for a 3-hour minimum or a whole day, with extra time in 30-minute blocks. A 4-hour sedan booking is $540–640 all-in plus HST. At Blue Mountain that could be: collect you from your Barrie hotel, drop you at the Village, collect you after lunch and take you to the spa, and return you to Barrie.

The advantage is the waiting. Instead of paying for two one-way fares and finding a ride at a busy lodge, the car is where you left it. Read about hourly chauffeur service and the hourly versus point-to-point guide.

Taxi, shuttle or private car at Blue Mountain?

Local taxis in Collingwood are fine for a hop across town, and many people search for a Blue Mountain taxi, but availability on a busy ski night is not guaranteed. Shared shuttles to Blue Mountain exist from some starting points, and they are a reasonable choice for one traveller who does not mind a fixed departure time. Check the operators' own sites for schedules; we do not print competitors' prices.

A private car is priced per vehicle, not per seat, and goes at your time. For two to five people with skis, a late return from dinner or a flight to catch, it is often close in cost to separate seats and far easier. Our fares are premium-priced and include every fee. See our airport shuttle alternative and the limo, taxi and rideshare comparison.

Groups, weddings and corporate retreats

For a ski-trip group, a Sprinter carries up to 14 passengers, a luxury minivan six and an executive SUV six. The Georgian Bay Hotel's own site advertises meeting and banquet space for large groups, so conference groups and wedding parties stay in Collingwood and need coordinated pickups. We can price multi-vehicle moves in writing through a coordinator.

Stretch limousines and party buses are partner vehicles from vetted operators, and we say so at booking. Alcohol is not allowed in any of our vehicles, including party buses and stretch limousines. For corporate offsites and retreats, see corporate car service and the Sprinter group page.

Pets, child seats and accessibility

Pets need prior approval: request at booking and wait for written confirmation; service animals are welcome and should be mentioned. The Days Inn Collingwood states that it does not allow pets, so check each lodging's own policy as well as ours.

Child seats (infant or child, toddler and booster) are available on request from $25 each; add them at booking. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available; book it in advance and tell us about the wheelchair or scooter.

Cancellation, changes and what is included

Every fare includes the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. Waiting is 15 minutes on non-airport pickups, then 15-minute blocks. Cancellation is measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 per cent; 48 hours or less, 50 per cent; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 per cent.

Weather can change ski plans; tell the desk as early as you can and we will say what is possible.

Why BarrieLimo.net

What a chauffeur gives you that an app ride cannot

How our drivers are vetted and what they are held to is set out on the chauffeurs page; every fare, and what sits inside it, is on the rates page; and this guide shows when booking by the hour costs less than two one-way trips.

01

Kept by the hour, not by the trip

Reserve one car and one chauffeur for three hours or the whole day: a site visit in Alliston, lunch on Dunlop Street, an afternoon at Horseshoe, then Highway 400 down to Pearson. The car waits wherever you are and nobody has to re-book anything.

02

One price, shown first

The reservation engine prices your exact address, date and vehicle before you commit, with the chauffeur, fuel, 407 ETR and bridge tolls on the planned route, airport fees and gratuity inside it and HST shown separately. No surge after a snow squall, no meter running in a Highway 400 backup, no marketplace commission.

03

Timed to the real arrival

Flights into Pearson, Billy Bishop and Lake Simcoe Regional are followed from departure, and so are trains into Union Station and the Barrie GO stations. Waiting is built in: 30 minutes after a Canadian or US flight lands, 60 after any other international arrival, 15 at every other pickup.

04

Drivers who read the 400

Our chauffeurs are licensed for hire, screened and in a suit, and they drive this corridor in every season: squalls off Georgian Bay, Friday cottage traffic on the 400 and 11, a closure near Highway 89. The route is chosen on the day's conditions, not out of habit.

05

Airports, rail, jets, hills and the border

Pearson, Billy Bishop, Lake Simcoe Regional, Muskoka, Hamilton and Buffalo airports; Union Station and the GO stations; private aviation; Blue Mountain, Horseshoe and Mount St. Louis Moonstone; Casino Rama; Muskoka; and cross-border trips with a NEXUS-holding chauffeur on request.

06

Someone always picks up

Dispatch is staffed day and night by phone, chat and WhatsApp, and a coordinator puts weddings, proms, party buses, group moves and corporate accounts in writing.
