The Barrie Colts are Barrie's Ontario Hockey League team, playing home games at Sadlon Arena, 555 Bayview Drive; the 2026–27 schedule is 68 games, 34 of them at home. A Barrie Colts game limo from BarrieLimo.net is $110–125 one way in a business sedan within Barrie, or an hourly chauffeur at $135–160 an hour (3-hour minimum), all-in plus HST. Book direct; tickets come from the team.
Barrie Colts game limo: what you book
A Barrie Colts game limo is a black car and a professional chauffeur arranged around a night at Sadlon Arena. You can book a one-way transfer to the arena, a return pickup after the game, or an hourly chauffeur who stays with you from the first pickup to your front door and waits while the game is on. Most hockey nights in Barrie involve cold weather, a crowd leaving at once and, in the snow months, a drive home on roads that were fine at six o'clock and are not fine at ten. That is when a chauffeur earns the booking.
This page explains how we use the hourly chauffeur service in Barrie for a game, what the fares are from across Simcoe County, how the arena's parking works in general terms, and where the cheaper options such as driving yourself or taking a taxi honestly make sense.
The Barrie Colts and Sadlon Arena at a glance
The Colts are a junior team in the Ontario Hockey League's Central Division. Their home is Sadlon Arena at 555 Bayview Drive, the building many longtime residents still call the Molson Centre. The arena also hosts concerts, family shows and other events, so game night is only one of its uses. According to venue listings it seats a little over four thousand for hockey, which makes a Colts crowd busy but not unmanageable, and it has large surface lots rather than a downtown garage.
The Colts' own website at chl.ca is the place for the roster, tickets, the game-day guide and any change of puck-drop time. We drive to the arena; we are not connected with the team or the building, and we never sell tickets.
Barrie Colts schedule: how the 2026–27 season works
The OHL regular season is a 68-game slate; for 2026–27 the Colts play 34 of those games at Sadlon Arena. The home opener was on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The season runs from September into the spring, and any playoff games follow the regular season if the team qualifies. Start times vary across the week, and the schedule is the team's to set.
We never print game dates here, because schedules and start times move. The current list is on the official Barrie Colts 2026–27 schedule page. Check it, pick your game, and book your car as soon as you have seats. Our reservation engine accepts reservations well ahead and a free cancellation window applies more than 72 hours before pickup.
Barrie Colts tickets: where they come from
Colts tickets are sold by the team through its own ticket portal, linked from the team page. We do not sell, hold or resell tickets, and we would be wary of anyone who offers a seat as part of a ride package. What we can do is work around your tickets: book your car for the pickup time that suits your gate, and choose between a one-way transfer and an hourly booking.
For corporate hosts, the team site mentions suite rentals, which is a good way to entertain a client group; our job is the ground transport before and after. A first-class sedan for the principal guest and a Sprinter for the rest of the group is a common pairing.
Fares to Sadlon Arena from Barrie, Simcoe County and Toronto
These are planning figures for a business sedan, one way, all-in (chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route, gratuity) plus HST. The arena is within Barrie, so most local trips use the first row. The reservation engine quotes the exact address, date and vehicle before you confirm, and the fare does not change because it is game night.

Within Barrie a business SUV has a local minimum of $180–205, an executive SUV $260–300, a Sprinter $480–550, and a party bus (a partner vehicle) $650–750. Every vehicle class is described on our fleet page, and the rates page lists the planning figures.
Hourly chauffeur for a game night: how it works
For a Colts game, hourly is often the better option because the car waits. The business sedan runs $135–160 an hour, the business SUV $175–205, the executive SUV $225–265 and the Sprinter $475–550, all-in plus HST with a 3-hour minimum. A four-hour sedan booking is $540–640, which comfortably covers a pickup in Barrie, a drive to the arena, the game, and the ride home.
The chauffeur drops you at the best accessible point, parks away from the exit crowd and moves to the agreed spot when the final minutes tick down. Overtime is not a problem: time beyond your booked block is added in 30-minute increments at the same hourly rate. If you want to dine downtown first, add the dinner to the booking and the same car carries you to the arena. Compare the two styles in hourly versus point-to-point.

Sadlon Arena parking and game-day traffic
Venue listings describe general parking in lots north of the building, reached from Bayview Drive. That covers an ordinary night. The issue is not capacity so much as timing: everyone arrives within the hour before puck-drop and everyone leaves in the ten minutes after the final horn. For the exact arrangements on a given night, read the team's game-day guide linked from the Colts' site, because lot rules, accessible spaces and event-day changes are the venue's to set.
A chauffeur does not remove the traffic, but it removes your part in it. Dispatch plans the arrival time around the evening's pattern, drops you near the entrance, and then avoids the departure crush by waiting off the main exit route.
Driving yourself, taxi, transit or chauffeur: an honest comparison
If you live in Barrie and enjoy a quick game, driving yourself and paying for a parking spot is the simplest, cheapest option. A taxi or ride-hailing car works for one-way trips, though availability tends to thin out at the end of a big night. Barrie Transit runs on its own schedule; check MyRideBarrie for what is current. None of these gets you a car that waits and an assured ride home.
A chauffeur makes sense when you want the ride home guaranteed, when the weather is bad, when you have kids or a group, when you are hosting guests, or when you are coming from further out in Simcoe County and do not want to drive back at midnight. We offer a premium service at a fixed fare; for the cheapest trip, the options above remain honest alternatives.

Winter game nights: squalls, snowbelt and Highway 400
Barrie is in Ontario's snowbelt. From November to March, lake-effect squalls off Georgian Bay can slow or close Highway 400 between Barrie and Highway 89 with little warning, and a Friday-night game can feature a clear sky at the puck drop and a whiteout by the third period. Our chauffeurs drive winter-equipped vehicles, check Ontario 511 before leaving, and add time to the pickup when a squall is forecast.
If you are driving in from Orillia, Innisfil or Bradford for a game, a chauffeur removes the risk of a late-night drive on roads you do not know well. Our Highway 400 winter travel guide explains how we plan for it. The most practical advice is simple: book the car, build a margin and let the chauffeur make the call.
Playoff hockey and big nights
If the Colts reach the playoffs, game nights get busier and schedules can be announced on short notice. For that reason we recommend keeping a flexible booking approach: reserve for a specific game once you have tickets, and use the 72-hour free cancellation window if the schedule shifts. Our terms apply as usual: free cancellation more than 72 hours before pickup, then 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less, and 100 % at 24 hours or less or on a no-show, measured from the scheduled pickup.
Special nights, such as a milestone game or a group celebration, are a good time to upgrade the vehicle. A first-class sedan or a Jet Sprinter adds a touch of occasion for guests, and an executive SUV gives a family of six the whole row.
Groups, office outings and friends on game night
A group of ten friends or colleagues is the classic hockey-night booking. An executive Sprinter seats up to 14, costs $475–550 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, and means nobody has to be the designated driver. Meet at one address, ride together to the arena, and leave the car to the chauffeur while the game is on. Our Sprinter and group transportation page covers luggage, seating and timing.
Larger parties can use a party bus or minicoach, which are partner vehicles from vetted operators, priced in writing by a coordinator. Alcohol is not allowed in any of our vehicles, including party buses, so plan the pre-game dinner and the arena concourse for any drinks. That rule is firm, and it is one reason groups choose us for the ride home.
Youth hockey, birthday parties and hockey bags
Not every Colts night is a grown-ups' evening. Birthday parties, minor-hockey teams and families with players in the stands all travel with gear. Hockey bags are bulky and long; a business SUV with five seats and five bags, or an executive SUV with six, is much more comfortable than a sedan. Tell us the number of people and bags at booking so the vehicle matches the load.
Child seats are available on request from $25 each. Add them when you book so they are installed before pickup. For birthday groups, our party bus rental page explains the partner vehicles and the minimum hours.
Coming from out of town: Pearson and the Colts game
Visitors flying in for a game or a family weekend can book an airport pickup and a game-night return as one file. Pearson to downtown Barrie is about 97 km and 60–85 minutes, at $380–440 for a business sedan, $490–565 for a business SUV and $580–665 for an executive SUV. Flight tracking is included, with 30 minutes of included waiting for domestic and US arrivals (60 for other international arrivals) from actual landing and curbside pickup at the commercial area. The Pearson route page explains the trip.
A common pattern: land at Pearson, ride to a Barrie hotel, rest, then use an hourly booking for the evening. See our Barrie hotels page for how we collect guests at the lobby.
Dinner before the puck drop
Downtown Barrie has restaurants within a few minutes of Sadlon Arena, and an hourly chauffeur makes the dinner part of the plan. Reserve a table, tell dispatch the dinner time, and add the stop to the booking. The car takes you from the restaurant to the arena, drops you at the closest practical point, and returns afterwards. You never have to shuttle a car between two parking lots or leave a dinner early to beat the crowd.
If you want ideas for the evening, our first-time visitor's guide to Barrie lists the city's neighbourhoods, and the travel desk can pair a hotel with the game.
Accessibility at the arena
Tell us at booking if anyone uses a wheelchair, scooter or walker, or needs extra time. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available if booked in advance; the dispatcher will confirm availability for your date, and we do not state a model or ramp specification. The arena's own accessibility arrangements are listed with the team's game-day information. Service animals are welcome; mention them at booking. A pet that is not a service animal needs prior approval, requested at booking and confirmed in writing.
Booking a Colts game chauffeur direct
Book on the BarrieLimo.net reservation engine: enter your pickup address, choose Sadlon Arena or hourly, set the date and pick your vehicle class. The engine shows the fixed, all-in fare, with HST shown separately, before you confirm. There is no app and no aggregator commission, and one dispatch desk handles your file. For other nights out, see our events calendar and the concert and game-day limo page, or read the Colts game-day guide on the blog.
