A Boots and Hearts limo from BarrieLimo.net is a pre-booked chauffeur from Barrie to Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte. Planning fare, business sedan from downtown Barrie: $180–205 one way, about 25 km, 20–30 minutes, all-in plus HST, to the festival's Line 7 drop-off point. For a Sprinter day or a longer stay, book an hourly chauffeur from $135–160 an hour.
Boots and Hearts limo from Barrie: how it works
Boots and Hearts is the country-music and camping festival held each August at Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, a short drive north-east of Barrie. BarrieLimo.net is not the festival, does not sell tickets and has no official role there; we are the private car that gets you to the gate and back. Book direct on our reservation engine a one-way drop-off before the festival day and a return pickup for the night, or a Sprinter for the whole group. The engine shows a fixed all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, any tolls on the planned route and gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter, no surge on the busiest night of the weekend and no app that struggles when thousands of phones share the same mobile signal.
When is Boots and Hearts?
The festival runs from Friday to Sunday in early August. The 2026 festival was August 7 to 9 and is over; the festival's own website now lists the 2027 festival as August 6 to 8. Line-ups, ticket releases and gate times are announced by the festival, not by us, so confirm everything on the official Boots and Hearts website before you plan. Book your car as soon as you have your tickets, because the Friday arrival and the Sunday departure are the two busiest times on the Oro-Medonte roads.
Where is Boots and Hearts? Burl's Creek in Oro-Medonte
Burl's Creek Event Grounds is at 240 Line 8 S, Oro-Medonte, off Highway 11 and close to the Lake Simcoe Regional Airport. The venue describes itself as a 600-acre property that can hold more than 100,000 people with parking for 33,000 vehicles, and the Burl's Creek venue information page has the details. From downtown Barrie it is about 25 km by our Oro-Medonte planning band, 20–30 minutes in light traffic and much longer when the festival is loading in. Our Oro-Medonte service area page covers the other places we serve in that part of Simcoe County.
Planning fares: Barrie to Burl's Creek
These are planning figures for one way, business sedan, all-in plus HST. Burl's Creek sits in our Oro-Medonte band; the reservation engine quotes the exact address, date and vehicle before you confirm, and the fare does not move because the festival is on.
| Trip | Distance | Drive time | Business sedan, one way |
|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown Barrie to Burl's Creek (Oro-Medonte band) | about 25 km | 20–30 min | $180–205 |
| Downtown Barrie to Lake Simcoe Regional Airport (nearby) | 18 km | 20–25 min | $160–185 |
| Downtown Barrie to Casino Rama (a different night out) | 47 km | 35–45 min | $230–265 |
| Barrie to Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 97 km | 60–85 min | $380–440 |
Larger vehicles such as the business SUV or an executive SUV are quoted by the engine for this trip. Every class is on the BarrieLimo.net rates page.
The Line 7 drop-off: where the car actually stops
This is the most useful practical detail on the page. The festival says drop-off and pick-up are permitted on Line 7 only, at 301 Line 7 S, and that the same address should be used for taxi and rideshare. It also says there is no access to Line 8 from Highway 11, so all festival traffic uses Ridge Road. Our chauffeurs follow that plan, and the festival's instructions can change from year to year, so the chauffeur confirms the point by text before pickup. Pick a meeting spot you can describe, such as a gate sign or a landmark, and screenshot it before you walk in; the festival's Getting Here page is the place to check the current drop-off arrangements.
Hourly chauffeur or two one-way rides?
For a festival the cheaper structure is usually two one-way rides, not an hourly booking. A one-way sedan is $180–205 each direction; a 4-hour sedan booking is $540–640, and a whole festival day would far exceed that. So we recommend a morning or afternoon drop-off at the Line 7 point and a separate pickup booked for a time window at night, with the chauffeur texting when they are close. The hourly private chauffeur earns its place for different plans: a Friday that starts with a lunch in Barrie, a stop at the hotel and then the festival; a family that wants to arrive early and leave early; or a Sprinter group that wants the vehicle and chauffeur close to the gate. Our guide to hourly versus point-to-point bookings walks through the maths.
Boots and Hearts tickets, camping and what we do not sell
We do not sell, resell or hold festival tickets, and we have no allocation. The festival's site lists admission passes, camping packages, parking and accessibility passes, and it says children 12 and under receive free general admission with a paid adult ticket; the festival FAQ has the current rules and bag policy. Buy only from the festival's official channels. If you are looking for hotels or flights around the weekend, the BarrieLimo.net travel desk can help with those, but not with tickets.
Boots and Hearts camping drop-offs
Camping is a big part of the weekend, and a car is a clean way to arrive. The festival lists tent camping at Gate 7C (191 Line 7 S), RV camping at Gate 9A (340 Line 9 S) and parking at Gate 8M (240 Line 8 S), with camping opening on Friday at 10 a.m., parking opening daily at 10 a.m. and everyone departing by Monday at 10 a.m. The festival also says vehicles that leave the campgrounds cannot re-enter. That makes a chauffeur drop-off useful for campers who do not want to bring a vehicle in: one ride out with the gear in a business SUV, executive SUV or Sprinter, one pickup on Sunday night or Monday morning. Tell us the gate and the amount of gear when you book.

Festival shuttles and GO Transit: the honest alternatives
The festival's Getting Here page says paid shuttles run from the GTA, Barrie and Orillia, and that GO Transit lists a festival service connecting with Allandale Waterfront station in Barrie; GO's own page, GO Transit and Boots and Hearts, has the details, with no timetable or fare printed by us. A shuttle seat is the lowest-cost option for one or two people who are happy with fixed departure times. A private chauffeur is the better fit when you travel in a group of three to fourteen and want to leave on your own schedule, when you are bringing camping gear, or when you want door-to-door service from a hotel or home in Barrie. It is priced per vehicle rather than per seat, so the comparison improves as the group grows.

Taxi, rideshare or a private car to Burl's Creek?
The festival itself tells guests to use the 301 Line 7 S address for taxi and rideshare drop-offs and lists local taxi providers on its Getting Here page. A taxi or ride-hail car can work for the trip in, and costs less than our fixed fare on paper. The ride out is the problem: at the end of a night, a very large crowd wants a pickup at the same moment, the roads are closed to through traffic, mobile data is crowded and prices can rise. A private car booked ahead is a chauffeur assigned to you, a fixed fare agreed before the weekend and a phone number that works. If you are on a tight budget, a shuttle is the sensible choice; if certainty matters, book the car.
Friday arrivals, Sunday departures and Highway 11
Boots and Hearts takes place in the middle of the cottage season, so Friday afternoon northbound and Sunday afternoon southbound traffic on Highways 400 and 11 can be heavy, and the festival adds its own load on top. From downtown Barrie we recommend leaving at least an hour before you need to be at the gate on the Friday and Saturday, and allowing extra time on Sunday afternoon if you are driving back to the GTA. Ontario 511 at 511on.ca shows incidents, and the chauffeur picks the route on the day; the planned route is built into the fare.
Groups, the Sprinter and the partner party bus
For a group of friends, a bachelorette weekend or a family with campers, our executive Sprinter carries up to 14 passengers with one chauffeur and one drop-off point. It is booked hourly from a 3-hour minimum at $475–550 an hour all-in plus HST, Larger groups can use a partner party bus or coach from vetted operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, priced in writing by a coordinator; we say plainly that those vehicles come from partners. Party buses carry a 4–5 hour minimum.
Alcohol: the festival's rules and ours
The festival's own policy allows limited alcohol in the campgrounds only, in aluminum or plastic, with no glass, and none brought into the entertainment area. Our rule is simpler and applies to every vehicle we offer: alcohol is not allowed on board, including Sprinters and party buses, with no hedging. That is also the strongest reason to book a chauffeur, because nobody has to decide who drives home. Finish any drink before you step into the car, and plan your festival drinks where the festival allows them.
Accessibility at Boots and Hearts
The festival's accessibility guide describes accessible viewing platforms at both stages, accessible parking close to the main gates for valid permit holders, priority camping with accessible washrooms and showers, and daily shuttles from the camping areas to the festival entrance; the festival accessibility page has the details and how to arrange a wristband. We can bring you to the Line 7 drop-off in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle: book it in advance and tell us about the wheelchair or scooter. We do not state a model or ramp specification here; the dispatcher confirms what is assigned. Service animals are welcome, mention them at booking.
Pets, bags and what to bring
The festival says no pets are allowed in the camping grounds or the main entertainment area, except service animals with a current rabies vaccination. Separately, pets in a BarrieLimo.net car need prior approval: request at booking and wait for written confirmation. The festival also allows small bags and purses but not large backpacks in the entertainment area, and says the event is held rain or shine with no refunds. Pack a rain jacket, sunscreen and a charged phone. For the chauffeur's sake, put loose items in a bag rather than the car floor.
Staying in Barrie or Horseshoe for the weekend
Many guests would rather sleep in a bed after the festival than in a tent. Our Barrie hotel transfer page explains where cars stop at city hotels, and our Horseshoe Valley hotel page covers resorts in Oro-Medonte. From any of them the festival is a short drive in light traffic. A hotel booking plus a Friday drop-off and Sunday pickup is the simplest festival weekend we know of. Concierges can book direct for guests, and the festival's own accommodation guide lists other options.
Fly-in guests, Pearson and Lake Simcoe Regional Airport
Visitors come from across Canada and the United States. Our Barrie to Pearson airport route is about 97 km, 60–85 minutes, with a business sedan planning fare of $380–440 one way, flight tracking included and 30 minutes of included waiting on Canadian and US flights (60 minutes on other international arrivals). Curbside pickup at the commercial pickup area is included; meet-and-greet inside arrivals is an optional add-on chosen at booking. Private-aviation guests can use the Lake Simcoe Regional Airport nearby, which has no scheduled airline service.
Booking, changes and cancellation
Book direct at BarrieLimo.net/book. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup; at 72 hours or less it is 10 %, at 48 hours or less 50 %, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup. Because the festival is rain or shine, weather is not a reason to cancel, but a delay is a reason to message dispatch. Reserve early: the Friday afternoon and Sunday night are the hardest slots to fill. Our fuller Boots and Hearts planning guide goes deeper.
