Innisfil Beach Park, at 676 Innisfil Beach Road, is about 15 km and 15–25 minutes from downtown Barrie, and a business sedan one way is a planning range of $150–170, all-in plus HST. For a full beach day, book an hourly chauffeur from Barrie at $135–160 per hour, three-hour minimum, so the car waits while you swim.
Innisfil Beach Park by private car: the short version
Innisfil Beach Park is the Town of Innisfil's big lakefront park on Lake Simcoe, and it is one of the most searched places in the area for a summer day out. The Town's park page gives the address as 676 Innisfil Beach Road, says the park is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm, and describes a 27.6-hectare park with swimming beaches, a boat launch, a playground, a BMX pump track, sports courts, a toboggan hill, trails and an off-leash dog area (Town of Innisfil: Innisfil Beach Park). To get there without driving, book your Barrie chauffeur on BarrieLimo.net: enter your pickup address and the park, see the fixed fare, and choose a one-way ride, a return at a fixed time, or an hourly booking where the car waits. We are independent of the Town and name the park because customers ask to be taken there.
Planning fares to Innisfil Beach Park
These are planning ranges for a business sedan, one way, all-in (chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route, gratuity) with HST shown separately. The beach is toward the lakeshore end of Innisfil, at the longer end of the town's drive-time range; the reservation engine quotes the exact address, date and vehicle before you commit.

Innisfil Beach Park parking: read this before you go
This is the most useful thing on the page for a beach day. The Town's page says visitors pay for parking, residents with a valid pass park free, and the gate at the front entrance closes when the lots near capacity; once it closes, only residents are admitted if spaces remain. On a hot summer weekend that can happen by late morning. A chauffeur cannot change the Town's rules, so the plan is the one regular beach-goers use: arrive early or on a weekday, keep the pickup time flexible, and tell the dispatcher on the booking what you want to happen if the gate is closed (wait, try later, or move to another stop). Booking a morning arrival with a fixed return is the most reliable pattern, and an hourly booking lets the car wait at a nearby stop. Check the Town's page for the current fee and rules before you go.
Hourly chauffeur for a beach day
Our lead product is the hourly private chauffeur: one car and one professional chauffeur kept for three hours or more. A business sedan is $135–160 per hour all-in plus HST, a business SUV $175–205, an executive SUV $225–265. For a beach day the SUV classes are the sensible ones, because beach bags, folding chairs, coolers and strollers take room. A four-hour sedan booking is about $540–640. With an hourly booking the car stays available while you swim, and a short hop to dinner at Friday Harbour is just another stop. Hourly versus point to point sets out when each is better.
What there is to do at the park
The Town lists swimming beaches, a boat launch, a playground, a BMX pump track, sports courts, a toboggan hill, trails and an off-leash dog area with water access. Construction of Phase 1 park improvements continues through fall 2026, with some temporary closures; the Town's page notes tennis and pickleball courts reopening in September 2026 and South Beach reopening in mid-October 2026, so check the page for what is open on your day. Water quality is monitored by public health: the Town points visitors to the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit for swim advisories, which are worth a check before you travel.
Park rules to plan around
The Town's rules summary prohibits motorized vehicles, portable barbecues, alcohol, smoking and fireworks. Dogs must be leashed except in the designated off-leash areas and kept 15 metres from the water. Tents are limited to 10 by 10 feet with visible interiors. That matters for what you pack: leave the barbecue and the drinks at home. Our vehicles have a rule of their own that matches: no alcohol on board, with no exceptions. Pets travel with us only by prior approval, requested at booking and confirmed in writing; service animals are welcome and should be mentioned at booking.
Accessible beach access
The Town provides Mobi-Mats for beach access and a floating beach wheelchair, called Sierra's Chair, with free daily rentals between 8 am and 6 pm; advance booking through the Town's ActiveNet system is required. That is the Town's service, so book it with them. For the drive, a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available from us if you book in advance and tell us about the wheelchair or scooter, and our chauffeurs help with seat belts and stow folding walkers and manual wheelchairs. We do not print a ramp specification.

Families, strollers and child seats
Families make up most of the beach trips. Infant, child, toddler and booster seats are available on request from $25 each; add them at booking and the chauffeur fits them before pickup. A business SUV takes five passengers and five bags, an executive SUV six and six, and a luxury minivan six with sliding doors and an easy step-in for small children and grandparents. Pack a change of clothes and a towel to sit on for the ride home.
Taxi or private car to the beach?
Innisfil taxi is a large local search, and for one person making one short trip a local taxi or ride-hail can be cheaper than a premium black car; we say so. The weak point is the return. A beach lot at 6 pm on a hot Saturday is not where you want to wait for a driver to arrive from elsewhere, and a lakeshore address is a long dead-run for a local cab. A fixed return time or an hourly wait removes that uncertainty, the fare is shown before you book and includes gratuity, and a group of four or five sharing a business SUV or executive SUV often finds the per-person price reasonable. The Innisfil city page covers rides from the rest of the town.
From Innisfil to Pearson on the way home
Visitors staying near the lake sometimes finish a beach holiday with a flight. Innisfil is closer to Toronto Pearson than downtown Barrie is, and the reservation engine prices the Innisfil address directly; for scale, Barrie to Pearson is about 97 km, 60–85 minutes, a business-sedan planning range of $380–440. We track flights, include 30 minutes of waiting on Canadian domestic and US arrivals and 60 minutes on other international arrivals, and pickup at the terminal is curbside at the commercial pickup area with meet and greet an optional add-on. See Pearson airport transfers.
Barrie's own beach, for comparison
If all you want is sand and a swim, Barrie has its own waterfront on Kempenfelt Bay, covered on our Barrie waterfront and Centennial Beach page, and it sits inside the $110–125 local fare band. Innisfil Beach Park is the choice when you want a large park with extras, the boat launch, the trails or the accessible-beach equipment. We drive to both and the fare is shown before you book.
A sample Innisfil summer day
A four-hour sedan plan, within the planning figure:
- 9:30 am pickup in Barrie; 15–25 minutes to the park, arriving ahead of the gate closing.
- 10:00 am to 1:30 pm beach and playground; the car waits at a nearby stop.
- 1:30 pm lunch or an ice cream at the lakeshore.
- 2:00 pm short drive to Friday Harbour for a stroll on the Promenade, or to Tanger Outlets Cookstown for an hour of shopping.
- 3:30 pm back to Barrie, towels and bags carried to the door.
Winter at the park
The Town lists a toboggan hill and trails among the park's features, so winter outings are possible; the Town's page is the place to check what is open and when. For the drive, Highway 400 between Barrie and Highway 89 is in the snowbelt, where lake-effect squalls from November to March can slow or close the road. Our vehicles run winter tires from November to April, dispatch is live 24 hours a day, and the dispatcher checks 511 Ontario before each trip.
Dog owners and the off-leash area
The Town describes an off-leash dog area with water access, and the rest of the park keeps dogs leashed and 15 metres from the water. If your dog is coming, ask for approval at booking: pets travel with us only after we confirm in writing, and a dog that has just been in the lake is a good reason to say so in advance. Service animals are welcome and should be mentioned at booking. For a large dog and a family, an executive SUV is the practical class.
Boaters, the boat launch and drop-offs
The park has a boat launch, and boating is a big part of Lake Simcoe summers. A chauffeur car cannot tow a trailer, so this is for the people rather than the boat: we can take a crew to meet a skipper, bring guests back from the water to Barrie, or collect a group from the ramp at the end of the day. Tell the dispatcher the pickup point at the park so the chauffeur knows where to wait, and allow extra time on summer weekends when the lots and the approach road are busy.
Sports courts, the pump track and teen groups
The Town lists sports courts and a BMX pump track, which makes the park a base for teen groups, birthday parties and team outings. A Sprinter handles up to fourteen with their gear. Parents booking for children should add the pickup contact at booking, and our dispatcher confirms details before the car arrives. Remember that the park's own rules apply on site, including no alcohol, and ours apply on board.
Groups, camps and school outings
Sprinters carry up to fourteen with bags at $475–550 per hour with a three-hour minimum; larger groups split across vehicles on one dispatch priced in writing by a coordinator. A family reunion, a group of grandparents and grandchildren, or a corporate picnic can all be done on one booking. Our Sprinter group transportation page covers seating and luggage.
Book direct and cancel fairly
More than 72 hours before pickup there is no charge; at 72 hours or less 10 %; at 48 hours or less 50 %; at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup. Weather calls for flexibility, so if the forecast turns, change your time early. Booking direct with BarrieLimo.net means one dispatch desk and no aggregator commission. If your trip includes flights or hotels, the travel desk can help, and the attractions hub lists the rest of the places we drive to.
