Pearson Terminal 1 or 3 is decided by your airline, so check your itinerary or flight status before you book. Air Canada flies from Terminal 1; WestJet and Porter fly from Terminal 3. Give BarrieLimo.net your flight number and the chauffeur is matched to the tracked terminal. A Pearson airport limo from Barrie costs the same at either: $380–440 in a business sedan.
Pearson Terminal 1 or 3: how do you know which is yours?
The terminal is a property of your flight, not of your ticket class, your destination or the driver you choose. Three places tell you reliably: the airline's confirmation email, the airline's app or website flight-status page, and the arrivals or departures board on the Toronto Pearson website. If any of those disagree, trust the airline's flight-status page on the day, because it updates when a flight is moved.
At BarrieLimo.net you do not have to resolve it yourself. The booking form asks for your flight number, and dispatch attaches the pickup to that flight. The terminal on your confirmation is the one the flight is tracked into. If you book direct a week ahead and the airline later swaps terminals, the tracked flight tells us and the chauffeur's position changes with it. You do not need to call anyone.
Which airlines use Terminal 1 and which use Terminal 3?
The airport publishes an airline-by-terminal list on its airlines page. As of this writing, Air Canada operates from Terminal 1, and WestJet and Porter Airlines operate from Terminal 3. Many other airlines sit in one building or the other, and the split follows airline alliances only loosely, so a list in a blog post, including this one, ages quickly.
Treat the pattern as a first guess and the airport's own list as the answer. Airlines move between terminals, sometimes for a season. If your flight number starts with a code you do not recognise, or you are flying a codeshare, check the airline's page and then enter the flight number at booking. That single field does more work than any memorised rule.
What if my trip has two airlines or a codeshare?
Codeshare flights are the usual trap. A flight can be sold by one airline and operated by another, and the terminal follows the operating airline. A ticket that says it is a WestJet booking might be flown by a partner, and the partner might use the other terminal. The flight status page for the operating flight is the authority.
For a connection, the terminal that matters for a Barrie driver is the one you arrive at last. If you land at Pearson from Calgary and your onward flight is on a different airline, your chauffeur is only involved at the end of the journey. Give the final flight's number, the arrival from which you will walk out, and leave the earlier legs to the airline.
How do pickups differ between the two terminals?
For the passenger the experience is almost identical, and that is by design. Your fare includes curbside pickup at the commercial pickup area of the terminal you arrive at, the place the airport sets aside for pre-arranged cars. We do not print door numbers, because the airport can move them, and a door number that was right in spring can send someone to the wrong lane in autumn.
What actually differs is the walk. Terminal 1 is the larger building and, depending on your gate, the path from baggage claim to the pickup area can be longer. Terminal 3 is smaller and often quicker to leave. Neither is a reason to book differently. It is a reason to tell the chauffeur if walking is hard for you, and to add meet and greet if you want someone to walk the route with you.
Where does the chauffeur wait for an arrival?
Once your flight has landed, the chauffeur sends a message with the car's colour, plate and exact position, then waits by the vehicle. That message is the real meeting point, not a door number on a web page. Switch your phone back on at the gate, read the message, collect your bags and walk out at your own speed.
If you arrive on an international flight, the included waiting time is 60 minutes from actual landing, because immigration and baggage take longer. On Canadian domestic and US flights it is 30 minutes. Both start from touchdown, not from the scheduled time. A late aircraft therefore costs you nothing, and an early one simply moves the chauffeur earlier.
What if my driver says Terminal 1 and I am at Terminal 3?
It happens, and it is fixable. The first step is a message to dispatch with the terminal you are standing in and a photo of the sign if you have one. Your flight number already tells us where the aircraft parked, so the usual cause is a booking made before a terminal change, not a chauffeur error.
The airport runs a free train, the Terminal Link, between Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and Viscount Station, and its official page describes how it works. Use it only if dispatch tells you the car is at the other terminal. In most cases the chauffeur drives to you, which is quicker than a rail transfer with three suitcases.
How does flight tracking help when a terminal changes?
Tracking is the reason we ask for a flight number and not just a time. A scheduled arrival tells us when a plane should land. A tracked flight tells us when it did, where it is headed and which terminal the airline has assigned. When any of those change, the chauffeur's plan changes before you have unbuckled. That matters most on a winter evening when de-icing shuffles the schedule, or a holiday peak when gates are reassigned. Our explainer on flight tracking and meet and greet walks through the process step by step.
Where do I get dropped off for a departure?
For departures the rule is simpler: the chauffeur takes you to the departures level of the terminal your airline uses. Airline check-in counters, bag drop and security are all inside the same building, so there is no benefit in guessing. If you are unsure of the terminal on the morning of travel, check the airline app before you leave Barrie. It is a better use of two minutes than a call from the highway.
Allow time for the road, then add the airline's own recommended arrival time. Our guide to early-morning flights from Barrie lays out how we back-time a 6 a.m. departure down Highway 400. The terminal does not change the drive. It changes which curb you are dropped at.
Does the UP Express change my choice of terminal?
The UP Express platform is at Terminal 1, and travellers who arrive at Terminal 3 reach it by the free Terminal Link. For a Barrie traveller that matters only if the train is part of the plan. The UP Express runs between Pearson and Union Station, and from Union you would then connect to GO Transit's Barrie line, which runs from Union to Barrie South and Allandale Waterfront. Verify every timetable on the UP Express and GO Transit sites, because frequency and the last convenient connection change.
A booked car skips that chain. There is no direct train or GO bus from Barrie to Pearson, so rail is two changes, and the choice between the terminals does not come into it for a chauffeur: the car meets you at whichever curb your flight uses.

| Business SUV from Barrie | $490–565 | $490–565 |

Does it cost more to be picked up at one terminal than the other?
No. The fare is set by the trip, not the terminal. One way between downtown Barrie and Pearson is about 97 km and 60–85 minutes, and the planning range is $380–440 in a business sedan, $490–565 in a business SUV and $580–665 in an executive SUV, all-in plus HST. Fuel, 407 ETR and bridge tolls on the planned route, airport fees and gratuity are included. The reservation engine quotes your exact address, date and vehicle before you confirm.
Child seats are from $25 each, added at booking. A larger group is priced by vehicle, not by terminal. If you want the whole list of classes for the run, the rates page collects them, and the airport page explains the pickup procedure in more detail.

How long should I plan between landing and the curb?
Plan on the airline's tracked landing time plus the walk, the border and the bags. At Terminal 1 on a busy international arrival, a realistic stretch from touchdown to curb is a long one, and the included 60 minutes exists for that reason. At Terminal 3 on a domestic arrival with carry-on only, it can be quick, and the 30 minutes included will usually be generous.
If you hold NEXUS, or travel with small children and checked bags, say so at booking and the dispatcher sets the pickup expectations around it. Our NEXUS and customs timing guide explains how to estimate the gap, and the CBSA is the source for what to declare and what documents you need.
What does a mixed-terminal day look like in practice?
Take two cousins visiting Barrie for a wedding weekend. One lands from Calgary on WestJet at Terminal 3 at 3:10 p.m. The other lands from Frankfurt on a partner airline at Terminal 1 at 3:40 p.m. Booked as two separate one-way trips, they would get two cars and two fares, each timed to its own flight.
Booked as one hourly chauffeur, there is one business SUV and one chauffeur, collecting the first cousin, then the second, then heading north on Highway 400 together. The hourly option is worth pricing whenever two arrivals are within a couple of hours of each other. The hourly chauffeur service page explains the 3-hour minimum, and the engine shows both options before you commit.
What about Friday afternoons, winter evenings and long weekends?
The terminal does not change what the road does. A Friday afternoon from Pearson in July can add 30 minutes to the 60–85 minute drive, because cottage traffic fills Highway 400 northbound. A January evening can add more, because lake-effect squalls off Georgian Bay slow the 400 near Barrie with little warning. For road conditions on the day, Ontario 511 lists closures and cameras, and our winter airport transfers guide covers how we schedule around squalls.
What is a quick checklist before I fly into Pearson?
A short list does more than a long guide:
- Find your flight's operating airline, not just the airline that sold the ticket.
- Check the terminal on the airline's flight-status page the morning you fly.
- Enter the flight number and the pickup address when you book.
- Add child seats or a wheelchair-accessible vehicle at booking, not at the curb.
- Decide on meet and greet inside arrivals if the walk or the crowds worry you.
- Keep your phone charged, since the chauffeur's position message is your meeting point.
Pets travel by prior approval: request it at booking and wait for written confirmation. Alcohol is not allowed on board. If the flight is so early or late that you want to sleep near the airport, our Pearson airport hotels page covers cars to the hotels, and the travel desk can arrange the flight and room.
How do I book a Pearson pickup from Barrie?
Choose the airport transfer on the reservation engine, enter your flight number, add the passengers and bags, and read the fixed fare before you confirm. Cancellation is measured from scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %. A delayed flight is not a cancellation, because the pickup moves with the aircraft.
Everything is booked direct, with no app and no aggregator in the middle. When your terminal is settled, book your Pearson airport car.
